This was better for sure. That was a crazy play but they were going into OT. MSU was going to lose this game unless something like that happened. One of/if not the best finish ever.

why he didnt make this move at least a month ago is baffling to me. offense moves so much better w/jt, pisses me off that it's happening.

what happened to cardale? get to big headed? defenses scheme for him?

A series of things happened. Worst thing is we lost Tom Herman as our OC. Pair that with Urban and company trying to force Cardale to be the man bc of his potential and hopeful NFL career down the road. Part of this issue was the offense is ran for a guy like JT not at all like a pocket passer in Cardale, but they are trying to make a square peg fit a round hole. The QB controversy and each guy looking over his shoulder does not help. Lastly, losing Devin Smith really hurt, he was our go to deep guy.

Again biggest factor to me though is losing Herman and the crap playcalling/schemes from the new OC we have now.

playcalling hurt but cardale was never as good as people thought, people got too enamored by small sample size. it is like hackenberg, just because you have great tools and physical attributes doesn't automatically mean you are a great qb. no harm done though, barrett has time to warm up until the michigan games and the playoffs.
