It was a busy day at the office,
Lenny my boss was pushing me hard to close the deal with the local congressman
we are about to open our newest cigarette manufacturing plant in the southern portion of Georgia but Congressman Minsky has been very tough.
I was suppose to get a meal with him at Jerry's Stake Stop, a fine up scale dining location and buy him a nice meal to close the deal
He didn't show up. So I ended up eating steak solo.
It was succulent, and a nice medium rare.
Minsky called me after lunch to tell me he got caught up in traffic, it looks like we'll be rescheduling for sometime next week.
This next week is going to be hell with Lenny micromanaging me. I don't blame him, the hire ups at D&K Fine Tobacco are probably pushing him too.
Oh the irony.

I was just looking through old GT's from last season. We had a lot of **** luck but man was it fun. Last years Heat team sucked but it had character. We had a bunch of lovable losers on our squad that no one else wanted but they were determined to prove them all wrong.

If all else fails I hope this Heat team can capture that one aspect that the Heat team post all star break had in spades.

They were pretty endearing. I mean, we saw Walker guarding Drummond and Beasley guarding Cousins...and it actually didn't turn out so bad :lol:

I can't fully recall. I told him about how petty that was and the reasoning behind it was absurd, when other posters practically write the same thing with no repercussions. And that no wonder the GB is going downhill because of outrages bans. Then followed up by saying something about him being trigger happy on bans :lol:

Long overdue. Finally the organization stood up and fired a coach who consistently under performed and failed to develop his players.

About Al Golden, it had to be done; although he was great with the kids and what you would otherwise call a good "college" coach and mentor for young men. These kids did not only lose their coach but in some cases also a father figure and a role model. Unfortunately, college football is a "professional" sport - although the NCAA would tell you otherwise, but that is another discussion - and in a "professional" league you are measured not by your intangibles but by your wins and loses. Al Golden did not meet the requirements to run a major college football program and his loyalty to his staff over the years did him at the end. (Isn't it interesting that "professional" sports might be the one position where being loyal is not a good thing...go figure).

I hope the next coach Miami selects can bring some wins to this program who is far from being back on top. The talent pool is rich and being a great closer in recruiting plus being able to develop that talent should be keys to the hiring.

New Miami Dolphins interim coach had the Dolphins up 58-3 last 2 games before halftime. If he keeps it up he can win coach of the year.
