Ish Smith is a Free Agent. Man I wish to have some Ish dish on the roster opening night.

He made 1 of 23 three pointers with us.
I think I'd have a shot of being a 3rd PG.

I'll take Ish over Price every single time.
Say what you want about Ish but he actually has somewhat decent court vision and can teammates up with nice passes.

How's Marcus been? Can't believe he's starting for an NBA team. Detroit has Drummond who can cover up his defensive shortcomings I suppose.

Or like trading Amare for one unproven young guy in 2010?

Come on Cosmo, you know that Amare was walking regardless and George has been extended.
You knuckleheads proposing and advocating value in a George deal are examining everything but reality. He is the cornerstone of the Pacers. Currently, there is not a list of disgruntled super/all star caliber players out there yet. Perhaps we see Cousins barking to get out from under the wrath of Karl... who knows, may be Love will tire in Cleve, though it is his absolute best ring chance. Dude does not have a no trade clause, but that will be a LeBone decision.
There really isn't anything to warrant trade discussion as of yet. And besides, you had better be ready to give up Len, Bledsoe, Warren, i.e. quality, if you expect quality back. Teams will want to maximize the return for losing an allstar/difference maker. Sadly, we have little to table but some unproven youth, a head case, a few draft picks, and may be a unmeshing combo guard. BTW, Goodwin will only get you a cup of coffee and a cookie.
I think we'll forge onward with this ragtag bunch, and hope for the best, as in a contending team that at least plays a brand of team basketball that is easier on the stomach. An attitude change from the me me me bunch, and a new approach to citizenship. The turnstiles will dictate the success. All the buzz accumulated in the past evaporated last yr with the negative drama. The FO can flap out all the positive tongue they want....the fans will not be fooled.

I'm not interested in Paul George. I'm interested in Alex Len, TJ Warren, and Devin Booker.

Completely agree with you on this. I think those three guys are the future of the team. Warren already should be the starter at the small forward spot anyway. He averaged about 13.7 ppg in the preseason while Tucker scored a total of 15 points in six games. That comes out to Tucker averaging 2.5 ppg. Their stats are not even comparable. Warren looks like he has the potential to be a superstar scorer and Tucker can barely shoot the ball. Not to mention but Tucker's basketball IQ is so low.
Anyway, I have no interest in Paul George. He is really good but he is a low percentage shooter and I do not put him in the category of the top players in the league. I think and hope he will be fine after his injury but still, I am not nearly as high on him as some other fans.

Marcus is a bit of a chucker, but we need his offense.. He's built like a tank too. I wanted Markieff in Detroit when he was upset at Suns FO.. I'm starting to like just one of them.. Marcus looks better by himself. I think he'll start first 15-20 games, then Stanley Johnson will take his spot. Ilyasova is actually the one I've been least impressed with as far as our off-season guys go. We need a better PF going forward. Bullock has looked good enough to start. We play tomorrow. We'll see how he does in a regular game.
Drummond looks like a beast. He has been our best player x10 this preseason. I'm not sold on Reggie Jackson yet, he seems selfish at times. SVG is good with PG's though.
As far as the Suns go.. I love Devin Booker. I'm from Battle Creek.. It's about an hour from where Booker grew up. He was a target at 8 for Detroit too. I love Brandon Knight too. He plays with his head down though, that's why he's a good combo option to just light up the scoreboard (if used right).. It's smart the Suns held their ground with Markieff too. They got his value back up even if they do consider trading him.

Both of the Morris brothers are underrated because of their attitudes. On the court they are better than given credit for. I've learned that having one of them on the Pistons. They both will do much more on different teams (split up) in my opinion.

I hate to rain on your parade but I wouldn't be so optimistic. I think their value do take a hit because of their attitude but I don't think that really clouds our view on them as a player on the court. The fact is that their attitudes do affect their play because of their propensity to pick up frustration fouls but even without those fouls, they are at best, a marginally above average starter. I do think they'll be better without each other but I certainly don't think they are underrated by any rate. We've had 4 seasons to watch Keef grow and we've had 2 to watch Mook and I think we have a a pretty good idea on the kinda of player they are and will likely be.
Splitting them up is a good thing but I wouldn't hold out hope they they'll suddenly blow up because of the trade.

I don't think he'll "blow up".. I think he'll hit threes at a decent clip.. In Van Gundy's offense, his numbers will go up..

The perfect situation is that you have the MoBros coming off the bench for 25 mpg each. With better players in the starting role, and the twins kicking butt on opposing bench players, a team can keep relentless scoring pressure on the opposition. However, at this stage of their career they both expect to be starters. And, they have shown if they are not happy together they can be toxic.

Mavs just waived Sam Dalembert. Maybe we should pick him up as a third or fourth center for our deep playoff run this year.

We'll definitely need him for our tough Finals series against the Milwaukee Bucks. I'm all for picking him up

Dalembert is not someone we should add to our locker room.

They are definitely underrated. You got Marcus for nothing...if he can just focus on basketball and nothing else, you are fine...but Stan is your future. Kieff is underrated by many here too. They are both better as bench guys, though Kieff said he worked on 3s a ton and hit them at a good clip so far, so if he was able to hit like 3 pt shots at a 40% rate, he is vastly underrated. So it is good we see how he pans out and what the professionalism is like.

Re: Suns Offseason Thread V: I Am My Brother's Kieffer
If Kieff can hit volume 3's this season at 40%, that's a game changer. Suns will not trade him, period, unless a huge package is coming back our way.
