I watched a good amount of his outings since the beginning this season and he has been skating on thin ice and has been very fortunate this year. I feel like his high BB/9, HR/9, FIP, xFIP, and lessened K-rate, as well as GB% all back that up.
So, we get back to the question: if not Clippard, then who? Hope our starters can go at least 6 innings and go with Colon/Niese in the 7th, Reed as setup and then La Familia es todo?
Why not go either Niese or Colon for 2 IP and then let Familia close up shop?
