Klay is a very good defender with that length. He just needs to stay engaged offensively.

Davis has been useless attempting to create his own shot this game. He's been lucky to have refs call fouls here and there.

It's ridiculous how open Curry is on some of those shots. Do guys not realize he's the best shooter in the world? Like geez.

Klay is so overrated imho. 5to, 9pts + he plays with Curry. This guy was invisible last playoffs too. But he has a 3 and plays some D so he's amazing

Did you all hear what Chris Webber just pointed out?

Luke Walton yelling at Mo Speights for taking a terrible, out-of-culture shot.

Honestly, could you ever see Casey getting on one of his players for poor shot selection? If he did at all last year, for Kyle/DeMar/Lou/Greivis, they sure as hell never listened.

No I couldn't see Casey saying that because he always talked about how he gives players freedom on offense as long as they play defense. Which I always found wrong concept. Culture of our team is different. I remember Amir saying how they got on Derozan to shoot because he's the "scorer"

Speights is known to take questionable shots that aren't in the flow of the offense. He's their ultimate heat check guy not named Curry lol. But Kerr generally pulls him out the game immediately when he isn't feeling it.

Sounds exactly like the type of approach Casey should have taken with Lou.

Lou is uncontrollable in my opinion. Hawks fans were happy to lose him. They even warned about going left pull up 3 to end the quarter.

true. but that's part of the reason why it works.

Hm. you may have a point, that due to personnel the Raptors' version doesn't work as well. perimeter versatility only present in the smaller guards (Vasquez/Lou last year, Cojo this year)

They also have players that will hit open shots ... Not Demar who's percentages drop when he is open and can't stick a 3pter ...

shooters shoot, they thrive in small ball spacing, we go small ball to matchup and then get outdone by better teams/systems/players

Nice set by Hoiberg to spring Butler free for a jumper knowing the Cavs will hard hedge on the ball-screen action. Excellent weakside action as well to keep the helpside defense occupied not allowing them to load up. Just didn't like how he had Taj Gibson in the shooter's position in the second clip or it could've been a decoy to free McBukets off of a leak action.

those are really hard skills to acquire. A certain player has been working like a dog for 5 off season straight and hasn't even came close to succeeding.
