David Wright at 2B??

Post#1 » by blueNorange » Sun Jun 24, 2007 4:40 am

Got this from a Met fan from another message board. His screen name is "brooklynmet".

While at Saturday nights game, during batting practice I saw David Wright taking grounders at SECOND BASE.

What's up with that? Has he been told to take grounders at second. If yes why?

So I pose this question to you all.

Why do you think Wright was taking grounders at second?
I have my feelings, what do you think?
LOL Y U MAD THO?

Cabrera a future hall of famer, isn't getting traded.

Maybe they wanted Reyes and Wright to get an even closer bond to eachother...

I wouldnt read anything into it. Probably just doing something different to break the monotony. DWright has 10 more years at 3B for us. Even if we got Cabrera I think he would go straight to LF.

It's probably was just in case we needed to use somebody at 2b. Not that many 3b's out there I would move Wright for.
