Great stuff.

It was a nightmare today. I have complained on the mod board. Obviously, they know its screwed up. They are also working on the app. I am not quite sure what the deal is there. I think they are saying the problem is on the tapatalk side. I have no idea why you would wait to make major changes the week before the season starts. Do that stuff in August. Hopefully they get it fixed soon. I know a lot of you guys use the app exclusively.

Panthers are playing well but how much is really his doing. Were not almost all the stars of this team except Short already here before he came? What has he really added? Coaching staff and all but one big name was here. Our biggest holes before he got here are still here at OT and WR. I stand by what I say he is not well liked can't draw any FA here because his isn't respected and he is winning on the back and growth of what the guy before him did.

It's amazing what this sinking ship can do, huh?

How come that guy couldn't consistently win? And how come we were so successful at resigning guys if Getts scares everyone off? Seems like Ginn wasn't scared off, he signed with us twice as a FA.

If you can't admit that Getts has done good things for this franchise at this point, you're completely delusional.

8 out of 11 of the current starters on defense were brought in by Gettlemen. It was 9/11 while Luke was out.

7 out of 11 starters on offense were brought in by Gettlemen.

I feel like that kind of puts things to rest.

He has drafted exceptionally well and he brought in a clear #1 receiver in KB, who just happens to be hurt this year. The lack of OT talent is due to the lack of money (thanks to the guy before him) and lack of high draft picks because he's actually been in charge of a consistently winning team.

Seems like the team genuinely enjoys playing together and motivation is very high. No locker room troubles.

He's done as well a job as anyone could ask for a GM. I have no idea why someone would be objectively disappointed

I never thought I'd see the day where I had to bank on my Charlotte pro teams to bail me out from the misery of being a Chelsea fan.

I can't decide if I want Mourinho fired or not. I am leaning towards no, keep him, he's a legend and the best coach we've ever had. On the other hand, the team is a mess and rumors are he is losing the locker room. One thing is for sure, we are definitely not making the Champions League next year. That in itself my cause some of the big names, to try and force a transfer this summer.

LA and New England knocked out of the MLS playoffs last night. Neither game was on an English speaking channel, this is a little ridiculous. It shouldn't be so much easier to watch the EPL than our own domestic league.

If you have UniMas for w/e reason both games tonight should be pretty good. Montreal (Drogba, Piatti) v TFC (Gionvinco,Bradley, and Jozy) and Portland (Nagbe) v SPORKS (Feilhaber, Zusi, Besler) should be a pretty good combination of of National Team guys and recognizable names from some Large Euro clubs.

Oddly enough, it's much easier to watch EPL games in the US than it is in England. They have tons of TV restrictions over there for the games.

Just like watching Hornets games from Europe in comparison with the Carolinas.

the MLS playoffs are on at a terrible time.

MLB world series
middle of NFL season
start of NBA season
start of NHL season

cant compete with the "Big 4" for national attention. need to start the season earlier or add more regular season games (34 right now) to at least dodge the world series. getting a better TV deal would be good too, the current MLS Soccer Sundays cant compete with the NFL games of that day (although its fine most of the season, until NFL starts)

Duke got robbed last night against Miami. Shameful how that game ended. Cut should have gone ballistic.

And...I'm back! Haven't been able to browse since opening night when the site was being all screwy. Just noticed the app finally works again (maybe that was my punishment for complaining about the site on twitter).

What'd I miss?

That officiating crew, or at least some of them were suspended today. That was without a doubt one of the most atrocious ordeals I have ever seen,

Speaking of that Miami Duke game. I absolutely flipped out. I can't remember the last time I was so upset over the ending of a game, and Im not even that big of a college football fan.
