Was KCP's Road Problem due to Partying?

Post#1 » by Blkbrd671 » Wed Oct 28, 2015 4:24 am

I read a article recently in which KCP indicated that him and SVG know what the problem was that lead to his lack of production on the road and that now that he's more mature, they think they've fixed it. Other than partying.............what would make sense that relates to maturity?

KCP's about the last person I'd think of as a partier.

He could have just went out with other people on the team because they asked him and he didn't know how to say no... that feels more like KCP to me lol. I used to have travel anxiety, you never really know what is going on for sure.
I just hope he's much more consistent this year, he's off to a solid start.

Seriously. He comes off as a Kawhi type guy to be honest.

Which I always said he would play terrific under Pop.

This thread is gold.

I can't imagine KCP partying though. He's so stoic, even robotic at times. Both on and off the court.

Thrilled to see him play well though. The thing about KCP is that effort and intensity is never in question...he's always active, getting out in transition, attempting chasedown blocks...and that makes him very easy to root for. Its just a matter of shooting consistently and everything else falls into place.

you got to remember he's still young and when your on the road and there are things to see , ppl to do. I can see him getting distracted. Its just interesting that the problem related to his maturity rather than effort or skillset.

Maybe, he just got in a bad habit of keeping his body in shape on the road like fast food or something. Who really knows. It is just speculation on fans part.

I was going to say something similar to this. I know that if I had a job where I was in a different city every few days, it would be incredibly difficult for me not to go out and see some stuff. Maybe he's skipping out on some rest and rehab to go shopping, see some sights, etc.
