Is Kyle ok? His status seem off I know he had the surgery but is he going to bounce back? Hopefully so.

I think he's gradually coming around, I wouldn't expect big production out of him so far.

National TV!!!

One of only a handful of games.

Catching the Knicks on 2nd night of a back-to-back.

Our time to shine!!!

  • Tim Hardaway Jr. will dress and is active for the Atlanta Hawks matchup on Thursday night against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
  • SF Thabo Sefolosha is inactive for tonight’s game in New York as he continues to work his way back from injury
  • Mike Muscala was diagnosed with a right ankle sprain after Tuesday’s game against Detroit and will not play tonight
  • Carmelo Anthony went only 4-of-16 from the field for 11 points last night. You can be sure that he will want to come out and set the tone in the first home game and to get himself back on track against the Hawks undersized wings.
  • The matchup between Porzingis and Millsap is another one to keep an eye on. While Porzingis is a gamer and doesn’t back down, Millsap will present problems defensively for him trying to take advantage of the inexperienced Porzingis.

REASONS TO WATCH
  1. Atlanta won the most games (60) in franchise history to secure the top seed in the East last season. However, their 2015-16 campaign got off on the wrong foot with a 106-94 opening night loss at home to the Pistons. Will last season's Hawks show up tonight in New York? Remember: Atlanta started last season 1-3 and finished 60-22. No reason to worry ... yet.

  2. Carmelo Anthony struggled in the Knicks' opening night win against the Bucks, posting 11 points (4-16 FG), six rebounds and five assists in 30 minutes. After missing 42 games last season, 'Melo will carry most of the offensive load for the Knicks in 2015-16 and will have every opportunity to reclaim the scoring title he won in 2012-13. The last time 'Melo played the Hawks (Nov. 10, 2014) he tallied 25 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

  3. Dennis Schroder is a ton of fun to watch. Schroder has incredible vision and lanky arms to make the seemingly impossible pass possible. And his scoring is coming around, too, with 20 points on 8-for-14 shooting in the Hawks' opening night loss to the Pistons. Tune in to see what Schroder can do under the bright lights of MSG.

Great rebounding from Millsap, but he's waaaaaaaaaay overthinking it on offense.

Lamar Patterson coming out strong a second game in a row. Really think this guy has a future in the league.

Hawks finish the Knickers off 112 to 101 if anybody wasn't aware.

These looked like the 60 win Hawks. Crisp ball movement, knocking down shots, beautiful cuts. I enjoyed watching it.

I was doing PIP because i was watching the Pats game, but things I noticed:

Teague and DS SHREDDED that awful Knicks backcourt. Thats what they HAVE to do against lesser competition.

AL looked great, the rebounding looked much improved.

Korver looked to be shooting well? I saw him make a few nice threes and mid range shots.

SO, on a night where you rested 2 players, THJ still got NO RUN in the game.........................

Patterson looks to be a solid rotation player, and Holiday I saw come in but Im not sure what his impact was.

Very good game last night.
Many believed New York would keep the game close and that wasn't the case at all.
I really like the confidence that many of our players are showing.

Agreed. Nice game by Teague.

AL is a rock. Glad to see us ruin someone else's Home Opener...and doing it on National TV is just icing on the cake.

Lamar Patterson is slowly becoming one of my favorite players. (We gotta get this dude a Nickname!)
