It's not even two games in, chill out. Wait for at least a season before you go writing guys off, or proclaiming the next big man.

Both have great potential but I love Randle's aggressiveness more than I like Wiggins' finesse game. All the hype that Wiggins got, Randle plays like a better physical specimen than him. His ability to put the ball on the floor is going to be a huge advantage. Wiggins has better defensive potential, however I think Randle has the potential to be a very effective force in this league.

Randle is turning out to be a great pick for the Lakers, but I don't believe it's necessary to compare him to the #1 pick in his draft. I do think it's possible that Randle has a higher floor than Wiggins, if a lower ceiling. Not that I think Wiggins won't reach his potential though.

Randle has really impressed me so far. He's quick for his size, and a great ball handler for his size. I don't know what his ceiling is, but he's never going to be the weak link on any sort of future imagined Laker title contending team. I think at worst he'll be a "super-solid member of a great team" type, because he seems heady enough to know how to fit in. If you put him on Team USA, he doesn't look like the type that would try to dominate the ball, he would go in there and hustle and make stuff happen for the team, not just for himself. That's the type of player he seems to me (right now.)

Randle has certainly made this more of a valid discussion the last couple weeks.. a lot has changed since this thread was made

Me: that's a funny way to start a conversation...

Randle isn't better than Wiggins for the same reason you can't say Okafor is better than Russell. Guards take longer to reach their potential
