You can see clearly at the 0:31 mark that Gasol's contact with his right arm moves James, and then Gasol grabs James' left arm before the shot. It was a foul. Oh well, I don't really care, I dislike both teams.

Watching Spurs vs. Thunder right now. Tony Parker looks terrible on defense. He has definitely lost a step and just stands there and swipes at the ball as quicker, younger players blow by him.

It only took him about 6 years but Rubio is draining jumpers.

Marcus Morris First 3 Games with Pistons:

18pts, 10r,4 a
14pts, 6r, 1a
26pts, 7r, 2a

Not amazing but pretty good.

Will he keep it up?

Well I don't think he is going to avg 19, 8 and 2, but he can be solid. The twins are better separated. I think Kieff may step it up more as Marcus does well because I'm sure they are competitive with each other.

ESPN is such a joke. If they didn't have live sports what reason would there be to watch it?

I always felt like Marcus was a very poor man's Carmelo Anthony. With volume shots I think Marcus can average 15-17 a game and maybe 6.5 boards. I don't think the twins are better separated. I think when Marcus started for us last year he played exceptionally well. If he wasn't such a prick off the court, and if Warren hadn't shown glimpses of being an all-star then I wouldn't have minded keeping Marcus around.

Just a follow-up on Marcus, from a Pistons perspective:

We didn't really have anyone to create offense from the wing as the shot clock winds down, and Marcus has capably taken over that role. Poor man's Carmelo describes his game very well. I'm sure he'll have some stinkers along the way, but if he can keep his head straight (big if), he's going to win us some games. He definitely saved us from a loss to the Bulls last night.

It's always good to get a player with something to prove.

Could be the most lopsided trade in the offseason or at least a top 5 acquisition for the offseason.

Splitting them up was always going to be a good thing. Splitting time with his brother meant he was never gonna reach his full potential and likewise with Keef. I doubt he's going to keep this up but for sure he's probably exceeded expectations so far considering the Pistons got him for virtually nothing.

I had no expectations for the Kings buy after watching 3 of their games I see them being a dark horse for the 8th seed. They finally have a good coach, Rondo is playing decent, Cousins is an all star, Mclemore is a stud and improving, Gay can fill up the stat sheet, Koufas nice backup C, Bellineli can drain 3's with his eyes closed and Collison was a nice pickup

If you thought this board had a meltdown after a horrible Game1 against the Mavs, go to the Houston Rockets forum Clutchfans. Rockets have lost both of their first home games by huge margins. The posters at Clutchfans want to crucify McHale, Harden is trash, Lawson is drunk that can't play.........etc. For some weird reason, I really enjoy watching a cocky fan base wallow in misery.
