After he retires I bet he gets hired again to work with the Magic but not as a player of course.

He'll be hired as the guy, to order the victory pizza after wins.

He plays 3 games and gets waived? What's the point? Just enjoy the pizza.

What are we, the Sacramento Kings? Ain't happening here people. Especially not under Skiles' regime. Hedo's BEEN washed up. No place for him here with what we're trying to achieve.

Who knows... this guy might be the "closer" that we all have been looking for...

Are you guys for real? Im shocked so many of you long time members think of this as a good idea! What in the hell.

In my view, this would be an insult to our current team. Hedo has nothing to bring to this team, no chemistry, nothing. So essentially it would be nothing more that a weak gesture to fans and I feel would make us a bit of a joke. We cannot be a team that makes personnel moves that are cute and cuddly and give the fans warm fuzzies on the inside. We are trying to win actual games here and build a winning culture. This would be damaging to that, and all so a vet can get a personal accolade that nobody cares about at all?

Nostalgia is for losers.

C'mon he won't be in Orlando to have meaningful minutes. I think if he plays in Orlando, it would be one or 3 minutes in 3 games, then he will likely be waived. He may still contribute some teams, but Magic is not one of these teams. However if they decide to keep him for whole season, it will not be for his play but it will be rather for his locker room presence.

This is probably the first time I agree with you 100%. Excellent post, excellent point supporting your opinion.

If true, it makes me want to vomit. I could not stand Hedo. He was garbage

No. I loved Hedo when he was here the first time (the second time was a disaster) but no. So what if he is on 997 games? Shall we go through all the players who ever played in Orlando and check if they have any milestones they are close to that we can help them achieve by signing them to a 10 day contract and putting them in for garbage time?

I'm 99.99% certain this story is false, but on the off chance it isn't, it's ridiculous.

This doesn't make much sense.

Sounds exactly like the sort of gimmicky thing this current management would not do.
