Beating a team back to back nights in a home/away is no easy feat no matter who you're playing. Props to coming back after that miserable showing Wednesday night!! Go Suns!!

This is the first time our backcourt has had a dominant game since the 2013 season with Dragic and Bledsoe.

I was looking at team stats earlier and we were 2nd in rebounding of all teams. That was a nice surprise to see despite the small sample size.

Great close to the fourth quarter and an awesome win. Now the Suns have to bring this same effort against the Clippers. They have not beaten them in a long time.

Not to compare or anything, but did Bledsoe/Dragic scored 60 in a game ever?

Nice to have another reliable guard to give the ball to in crunch time besides Bledsoe.
Different years and different rosters, but we still own the Blazers it seems.

Do you really need to use that game as a barometer? You can't tell that we're thoroughly mediocre already?

If Markieff can neutralise Griffin, we are going to be very competitive.

Great game Phx played well and closed out this game in fashion. Btw, thats 3 straight games we out rebounded opponents. I doubt this happened often in recent years.

Can't say until we say who that LA pick ends up being.
It's a tough call. Do we want to compete now? If so, ok trade...Knight was the 8th pick with four years of experience playing with a ton of different players, so he can adapt, and we know he can score.
letsgosuns mentioned he missed the days of that pass first pg, but if you don't have one, it is kind of nice to have two guys who can pass fairly well and can shoot....these guys had range tonight. I would normally like to see more passing but when shots fall you can't complain.
As far as the pick, it's still a crapshoot, even if Philly gets the 4th pick...the guy, IF he pans out, will take a couple of years. Sarver is more about now...I might have rather kept the pick, but I like a competitive team too, and I think McD drafts well, even at 13 or 14. I really like Warren and Booker. Sure I'd love to get a #1 pick, but even if you have the worst record you only get a 25% chance.
I guess we will see what this team is made of when we start playing the contenders. Hopefully Kieff is vested a bit more or that will hurt us immensely.

Stopping by to look for an argument? I think often teams play up and down to competition. We are likely mediocre yes, but we have some nice players developing and the guard tandem looked good tonight. We may get murdered at the PF position soon though, especially if Kieff isn't that into it. But I don't think he is checked out. I think he was a little bit checked out, but is getting more checked in when being around teammates eager to win. If you are playing with a team, the last thing you want to be is the guy who let them down.

Good win happy for the guys off a back to back
One thing alarming is that so far this season, our starting small forward is yet to hit a three.... Hmmm

Thankfully Tyson Chandler will likely be the one covering Griffin

The Suns can finish 80-2 and you'll still find over a dozen of weaknesses with this team. Both our guards just played an amazing game and instead of saying positive things you reflect on what occured in the past. Bled&KNIGHT are different types of players that don't need to record 9+ assists a game it's just not their game and it's fine cause they play different style of basketball.

Nope. I'm just taking things one game at a time. We beat Blazers home and away after dropping a disaster of a Game 1 against the Mavs. We seem to have it together a bit, and the game in LA against the Clippers will be an early test of how good this team is early in the year.
As always, Go Suns.

The Kings are taking them the distance right now on the road. It won't be easy but if we can rebound well again and get to the line we'd be in the game. Maybe Kieff will explode in the 4th when we meet big plays down the stretch. I just wish they compete and not lay an egg like the opener.
