Yeah I'll take a 162 game sample over a 11 game sample. Thanks.
Not to mention the Jays didn't have their best reliever (Cecil) for most of the playoffs.

No one is discrediting the Royals.
I take exception to comments like "crap pitching" though.

Jays had a few blow up innings there.
I don't put much stock into that number.

price is the only one with a track record there and he is a chronic choker. if you are depending on no names like stroman, estrada or has beens like dickey than you are going to wait another 22 years.

Lol. Sure thing champ.

Yeah where he went 4-0 with 1.67 ERA following an Adrian Peterson-like unbelievably fast recovery from a knee injury. He had a stellar 2014 too. Has 6..SIX pitches already at 24 years of age including one of the nastiest cutters in the MLB.
Not that I expect you to know any of that because you probably haven't watched a minute of the Jays.

Because he put up solid numbers for a 23 year old in 2014 as well. Was good in the playoffs. And has nasty stuff, and wide array of pitches. Go away.
I don't have to **** explain myself in liking Marcus Stroman. Jesus.

Jays rotation was as good or better than the Royals going into the playoffs. The Royals beat both the Jays and Mets in a similar fashion - with utter bullpen superiority and a hell of a lot of luck.

Averaged out The Royals had 3 good number 3 pitchers, but it's weird because Cueto and Ventura either look like aces or long relievers and you never know which you'll get (well KC Cueto anyway).
I will say this, after a year and a half I think you have to stop calling it 'luck'
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.
