I noticed it was H2H total points before the draft, I should have said something as that's not how we did it last year but I thought it was that way on purpose. I'm sure yahoo made the switch as they are pimping their daily fantasy product. I could tell during the draft that some people weren't in on the scoring setup, but competitive advantage and all.

Gobert's on the market. He's looking to return to action in January and can help a team dominate in the playoffs. I'm just looking to scratch my way into the playoffs and need some immediate help. So I'm looking for a slight downgrade in fan points/game in exchange for Gobert. If you are comfortable you can stash him and still make the playoffs, then this is an easy way to improve your team by a few points per game come playoff time - the most important time to have point producers.

Gobert averages 30 fan pts/game (and he got off to a slower start this year - potential for more) and I can get players off the waiver wire averaging 25 fan points a game, so I'd like to trade for someone at around 28 fan pts/game. Like I said, if you're comfortable you're going to be Top 6 and in the playoffs anyway, that's free points for you when it matters most.

I asked my guys to focus and bring it home, and that's just what we did. We may not have been the most talented team, but our guys had great chemistry. They had each other's backs and never sassed back when the coach was telling them what it would take to win. This is our reward. The champagne still sticking to my hair, the cigar smoke still wafting in the limo, and the eggs of the faceless dames we fertilized tonight. Those are the relics of a season lived to the fullest - a band of brothers who would live, battle, and die for each other. We entered the fray and emerged victors. The Crotty Kid Part II.....Who said sequels are never better than the original?

We shall revel in this glory tonight, for tomorrow it is back to our singular goal of proving ourselves as champions next year all over again.

Ah, the championship hangover. This is why that 2nd championship remains elusive for so many teams. The champagne and feasting takes its physical toll, sure, but what does most teams in is the dulling of the competitive edge. After one has been to the mountaintop, how do they keep that unquenched desire to find their way back? Indeed, The Crotty Kid seemed to fall into those same trappings, falling out of the gate to an embarrassing 2-6 record. These champions - giants among men - a mere year ago, had seemed to fade into oblivion. However, it is at these times when the measure of man is truly apparent. Rather than wallow in self-pity, these brothers banded together and played the best ball of their lives. The Crotty Kid Pt III shocked the world by winning their final 9 matches to assure their place in Pistons RealGM Fantasy Basketball lore. Just as their uniforms will soak up the champagne and sweat, they too will soak up the memories to relay to their grandchildren years down the road.

That, however, is a story for another day. For in a day, The Crotty Kid will put that 2nd trophy back in its case and the desire to reach the apex for a third time will consume their entire being. Three-peat or die.

Well done! It's extremely difficult to repeat.

And great post too :-)
