We have a team that can win games without Cousins.

Rudy holding his own in the post against Z-Bo? I don't know what to make of that...

Willie is having free throw problems, but he has been great otherwise. Ben McLemore on the other hand is a huge hole.

We are so lucky the Grizzlies can't shoot.

We would get absolutely lit up by any other team.

Z-Bo doing what I thought he would do against Gay in the low post.

He's only taken one shot. He needs to unleash the beast and take over. He needs some Kobe in his life.

Gasol out for the game. Time to make a move and cut into this lead.

Just flat, lifeless ball right now.

One thing I've noticed about Koufos is that while he's a game changing interior defender, he's just atrocious as a pick and roll defender and when defending against PF's that can shoot.

Ben McLemore getting caught on screens is not a good look either. Just might not be the guy this team needs. I'm surprised he's not scoring in this one because I think he can give this team points when the opportunity is there.

Koufus is a stud, but I think he wears cement insoles in his shoes.

With as bad as the Kings are playing it would be a 1 pt game if they had hit their FT's....

Now, I know the Kings weren't able to stalk up on defenders this summer, particularly on the wing, but the defense I've seen so far this season has been disappointing. One screen the Kings are toast.

No Cousins, no win?

It sure seems like that way.

Karl playing his normal rotation minus Cousins.

That's true but this game is a bit disturbing because the Grizz haven't looked like they've had any desire to leave 2nd gear all night nor have they had to. They haven't taken many games seriously so far this season and they certainly haven't taken this game very seriously.

Also, a lot of the defensive lapses we've seen are looking like they might be a running theme this year. The Kings have to out score the opponent to have a chance which is a bit disappointing. Maybe some of that can change when the chemistry starts to come but the lack of capable personnel might just be too much in the end.

Yeah I agree the defense has been alarming. It looks like no one is talking

Man I wish there was a way I knew in advance the Kings would lay a turd.... I feel like I've failed in the time management department tonight....
