I honestly don't know, all I've seen of lamb thus far has been preseason and these last two games, and he looks pretty great. I just get the feeling that there might be some Jekyll and Hyde we haven't seen yet in the consistency department because OKC fans don't seem to think this was a good idea from what I've read. Also not very high on Ross, that one doesn't look good to me at all.

So apparently saying that Jeremy Lamb is equal or better value for money than Terrence Ross is karma suicide on r/nba right now. Lots of people don't seem to think Lamb is an NBA player.

That's assuming Sam Presti thinks in a vacuum.

In reality Sam Presti knows the Thunder and Hornets are two completely different teams and wouldn't pull two random variables out of two separate equations in order to compare them.

Yes, Lamb is better at 3/21 than Ross at 3/33. Not a question to me.

I have no idea what Lamb can do in this league. In his short stint he hasn't shown much, and what he has shown is such a small sample size in weird situations that you can't begin to perceive what he can or will be. I think most people without bias see him, his past, and his future as almost an enigma.

With that said this deal is a pretty good deal for us. It's just simple risk vs reward. With the cap going up, this deal is what a back end rotation player will be paid. There is a better chance he becomes underpaid vs overpaid do to the fact underpaid could potentially be out of the league. I doubt that at least happens. It's just highly unlikely it becomes a bad deal.

As said as it is to say, that is a plus for this franchise.

guys didn't you get the memo? it's because of the idiot Hornets that the Raptors were forced to sign Ross for so much money

The Huskies Gang really lobbied hard for this guy, so hard it nearly killed LPs raging boner for Chandler Parsons. So a special thanks goes out from the Confederacy to the victorious Union.
