I'll go ahead and say this. Evan is our best player. Vuc is second... all the others have major room for improvement.

Do people need reminding that Evan started out hot last year too? Then he got hurt and never got back to where he was. He averaged almost 16 ppg through November last year and then averaged about 10 the rest of the way. We've known Fournier can put up big scoring nights, question is can he do it consistently over the season.

Hoping he can keep it up but he also played 42 minutes last night.

Naw It's Vuc because he's actually doing it on both ends and Evan hasn't been as a good on the defensive end but Evan is right there though.

Watching that and how much Evan attacked, it pisses me off how few FTs we shot. Looking at it, Evan had body contact (albeit slight) at 0:13; more body contact on the drive at 0:23, finally a foul at 0:38, he gets MUGGED at 0:43; and finally his 2nd drawn foul at 1:13.

*side note at 1:10 the commentator says "he's not going to beat you off the dribble" after he beat them off the dribble like 4 times prior to that point lol

Not to nitpick but everyone hailing Vuc's 22 points... it was on 21 shots. This still isn't efficient enough for most, especially a big man.

Doesn't matter if Vuc gives effort on D or if he scores a bunch of points, J-Ragg will not give credit because he wants him to fail. Who cares if the Pelicans' starting bigs went 5/17 fg... who cares if Vuc had just as many rebounds as both of them combined... let's bitch about Vuc shooting efficiently!

I think Vuc got direct tv this year for his defense. Because the previous years it was cable.

Vooch did outplay Davis. That ain't enough for some people.

Vuc was on Anderson a lot of the game.

Davis was being guarded be Dedmon, Smith, Harris for a lot of it.

Vuc played well but he shouldn't be getting the credit for winning that matchup or locking him down. He just played well overall.

Davis guarded Vuc a lot in the 4th, though.
