I do think it is a shot at Arison, and I actually still think he is right.

Cutting Mike Miller was a poor move. Not really basketball wise, but it sent a bad message to Lebron.

Shot or no shot. If the Cavs dont win it all this year, GILBERT and LEBRON will be crying. LOL

I'm not sure if it would've changed LeBron's decision, but yeah, Micky was being a cheapskate. It ended up costing him millions more since LeBron leaving plummeted the value of the franchise.

I always said cutting Miller back then was a stupid move.

People really dont understand how social dynamics even in the elite world play a big role.

Don't care about cutting Mike Miller. He was never going to make or break a championship for us. LeBron is gone, I don't care about that either, and those of you that do can you please just go with him already?

What I do care about is Micky being rumored to want to trade players for nothing to save money. We don't have the team we used to have and we need all the talent we can get.

I agree with your opinion about MM and LBJ (and his fapping fans). And I don't give a FF what Micky pays in taxes, except that we have financial benefits for staying under the luxury tax:

1. We can do sign and trades (not a big deal with our crew I think)
2. We get a Bi-Annual Exception (we could use for TJ perhaps)
3. We get a better MLE ($5M versus $3M)

Next off-season will be challenging to sign Wade, Whiteside, TJ, and Green. We need to make sure it works out and if getting under the luxury limit makes it work better, we should do it.

I'm absolutely astonished that some of you guys still haven't figured this out. LeBron was consulted about the MM move and he said he had no issue with it. This was just another case of LBJ making a PR spin to suit his own image, and anyway who gives a flying ****? Who's proven to be the far better organization? Who's the owner that now has to pay luxury tax out of his rectum just to keep his current players, let alone sign others? Who's in the better position for the future, while still fielding a potentially ECF contender?

I for one don't think LBJ meant anything by these comments, but even if he was taking a shot, so? He's playing for a loser franchise. We're all fans of one of the best NBA franchises, and it's all because of Micky and Pat.

Good points. I'm not really against saving money, as long as it helps the team. For instance, if we package McRoberts and Rio for someone worthwhile from Memphis and save money, I'm all about it. If we trade Deng for somebody(ies) who fit better and can save money while doing it, I'm all about it. But saving for the sake of saving with no basketball purpose, no thanks.

Agree 100%. I can't see anyone I want from Memphis though except Gasol. I'd really like to find a trading partner with better assets.
