Will Dwight play?

That's the big question for me seeing as how the Rockets will be on the first game of a back-to-back scheduling. The team is currently running low with the big bodies with Jones and Motiejunas still expected to be out. The Rockets will likely have to go to battle against Boogie Cousins with Clint Capela & Montrezl Harrell handling that duty. Could we see the Chuckwagon get his first significant minutes?

I'm expecting the starting lineup to be

Lawson
Harden
Thornton
Ariza
Capela

We'll see if they let Dwight play, or if Jones or Motie makes it back.

i don't think Rockets is the one stop Howard from playing back to back
i think it is Howard himself doesn't want to
i read McHale was pretty surprise and upset that Howard sit game 2 out

DMo is month away
i read he won't be ready until December
TJones didn't even participate in shoot around yesterday
i doubt he will play
and then you see Rose played with one good eye
our team mental suck

I'm becoming a bigger Lawson fan by game.

Crazy that both Lebron and Harden are shooting so horrendously bad from 3.



Also I disagree this team is mentally soft. Being cautious about injury is smart, not soft.

I've also read reports about Motie being the first guy in and the last guy out on most days. He's putting the work in.

i'm talking the whole team
their body language just isn't right when they are trailing more than 10 pts in the game
i like Lawson when he is doing Lawson thing
don't like him when he pass the ball to Harden and camp out at the baseline
where we all know Harden will dribble dribble then take a step back 3pts and miss

I hate back-to-back games. I know that the NBA says that they cannot do away with them, but at bare minimum there should be no travel between the games.

At least they are trying to cut down on 4/5's.

I think there is some discussion about moving the start of the season into earlier October and extending the back end a bit as well to add another month worth of time, which makes sense. Cut preseason some and play through June.

There is no doubt that b2b games should AT LEAST be the same for each team. It's not fair some teams play more than others and most of the time catch a fresh team. I can't imagine the winning % for a team playing a b2b against a fresh team is very good.
