Ron Ron is the MVP of this team

Post#1 » by FrozenIceCubes » Sat Nov 7, 2015 8:11 pm

His impact doesn't show on the stat sheet why he finally got minutes yesterday boggles my mind if the team wants to make a run for the playoffs.. MWP needs to be apart of the team and its rotation...

I also like the fact that the Kings and Pelicana are free falling if the team gets it together they will have a good chance to make the playoffs the West isn't as tough as it was thought to be.

He showed people yesterday that his defense is still elite when he's focused

hes been doing that all preseason long, but every time he turns the ball over on a drive ppl would say hes done, why is he in the league, he cant shoot, nor wanted him to make the team. pretty much how experts/fans think kobe is done right now due to his slump. dont be shocked if kobe goes for a 40+ night well being efficient or not.

He had a +12 and lead the team in +/- so yes his impact does show up on the box score.

Although OP needs lessons in subtlety and controlled hyperbole, I'm calling a spade a spade: His sentiment is right on.

Many people have been clamoring for this all week.

W.Peace and Nance are the spirit-driven "role-players" this team needs.

What he showed last night is one of the reasons I wanted him to make the final roster during preseason. He adds an intensity to the game that's hard to teach in practice... he's also smarter than I think many folks give him credit for... he just flat out knows the game, he's plug and play...

title of the thread is a bit over the top though...lol, more early season overreaction

Thanks for all the love my brothers. I'm looking forward to seeing us in the playoffs this season once it's all said and done I think the FO is gonna do everything possible to prevent the season from faltering so I'm looking for a big trade to balance out the season.

So when Ron Artest and the Lakers run up against a real team then what? They barely escaped quite possibly the worst team in the NBA.

I read this as "Ron Artest is the MWP of this team".

Wasn't sure what to think. Anyhow, I wouldn't go so far as to say he's even that important overall, but the guy can still ball, obviously has a few of the new additions' ears, and was a quality addition, no doubt.

As much as anything, seeing a vet with that kind of defensive intensity is infectious.

Ron Artest offers intangibles.

You can't quantify leadership, passion, spirit, and the ability to make guys better.

Slightly off-topic: These are the reasons why, without a question, to me Magic is the best to ever lace 'em up.

Notice how the game changed completely when Scott made the decision to take him out?
