The last two minutes of this GSW - LAC game must have taken 45 minutes. Talk about anticlimactic. Two replay reviews, bunch of time outs and so many FTs.

Remember 10-12 years ago when someone would hit 7 threes in a game and sportscenter would freak out?

Curry is doing it on the regular. Insane.

How ridiculous is it when you are Westbrook and can have 8 TOs and still have a 2:1 assist to turnover ratio in a game.

Basketball Reference ‏@bball_ref 14m14 minutes ago
Johnny Newman had 10 games with 10+ points & no assists or boards. He's the PotD http://

This tweet had me thinking, which current player is the modern day Newman - a player whose only contribution is scoring. Who has the worst points, to rebound/assist/blocks/steals ratio in the league?

Lou is 15.2 : 6.8 ratio

Good examples, anyone worse?

My least favorite Bobcats/Hornets make this list as well. In 2013-14, Gary Neal (MIL and CHA combined) put up 10.5 : 3.6. Ben Gordon for his career is 14.9 : 5.7

If we're talking basketball history then you can't go wrong with Kiki Vandeweghe, Ricky Pierce and Reggie Miller. The first three to come to my mind.

Kiki didn't contribute a whole lot in other ways to begin with but back issues made him a bad rebounder later in his career, despite his 6'8 frame. 26.9 : 6.9 is probably his worst year.

Pierce was an efficient scorer off the bench. One of the premier sixth men of the 80s, back when having such instant scorer guys specifically coming off the bench wasn't such a popular way to use them. 23.0 : 6.0 (in a season where he was Sixth Man of the Year, coincidentally)

And I know that Fats shares the same sentiments I have about Reggie as a player. He has a few 20ish : 6 or 7 ratio seasons.

he really does remind me of high school ball, when the guys are going to take their shot no matter what and don't have the moves to avoid defenders so they just launch it high

Lance should have stayed in Indiana.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Return to Charlotte Hornets
