Fats team is ridiculously loaded. Insane.
I think my team has more heart though. So I'll be able to take him down.

Re: Serious Dynasty League - Season Starts Tomorrow
So if I pick up someone off the waiver wire for a dollar, a 2 year deal is the max I can give him right?
Is there a deadline in giving players 2 year deals off the waiver throughout the season?
Edit: This was covered in the R&R, got it, nevermind.

Also I am looking for a point guard. I am willing to trade my 1st round pick, Jonas Valanciunas (2 years at $2 each - but must be a player of equal value!!!!), Jeremy Lamb (2 years at $1 each - steal), Bobby Portis (4 years at $1) or Avery Bradley ($1)

Re: Serious Dynasty League - Season Starts Tomorrow
speaking of steals, I love seeing how valuable Gallinari is, even if he isn't on my team any more. it is the contract I gave him and Sachmo has him at $1 for next season as well. it really was a trade that helped both teams as Isaiah helped me win the championship down the stretch of that year, while Sachmo got a pick and Gallinari on a value deal.

Re: Serious Dynasty League - Season Starts Tomorrow
some interesting invisible battles happened in free agency. Chabber made a few $2 pick-ups, while I read too much into Sachmo's comment. I thought for sure that he's picking up Evan Fournier and that I better not waste one of my free agent claims on him as Sachmo is ahead of me on the list. In the end Yosemite actually got Fournier and he's someone who I was in front of in the free agent auction list. could have got him. damn it..
Will Barton is joining me on a one-year deal, ESAL.

Another dominating week for the Pootys. Now 2-0 on the season after going 1-18 last season. My team is playing hard, and with a ton of heart.

Re: Serious Dynasty League - Season Starts Tomorrow
between Beal and AD missing time for Chabber (and him not filling out one of the UTIL positions for this week) and me not having Durant, Vucevic (was injured at start of the week) and Whiteside (only 2 games this week) one of us will pull out a very ugly win to get to 1-2.

Hehe, I knew I had to change my lineup when I left work but I came home and fell asleep on the couch. Woke up 30 minutes too late.
Our match up may end up like an epic battle between the 2011 Bobcats vs 2014 76ers.

Re: Serious Dynasty League - Season Starts Tomorrow
damn it. pussied out on taking Monta Ellis last week. this week Sachmo already out-bid me.
btw, suggestion for ESAL and our whole rule system - with all of the free agent pick-ups we do every week, I suggest that they are one-year contracts by default. in case you want a two-year deal, you go out of your way and say so on here/email ESAL. otherwise people won't just do these updates every Sunday.

Thanks for the heads up Lamar. Rosters are up to date now. I agree, I assume the player will be a one year deal unless stated otherwise. I believe that the deadline should be the end of the week you pick the player up in. That should be enough time to say you want a 2 year deal.
With that said, all players that were drafted this past year and contract lengths were never stated for them then they are now on a one year deal as well. Check your roster and reference the post you stated what you wanted if I missed it. Third week into the season should have been long enough to determine how long you wanted to keep those guys.

Re: Serious Dynasty League - Season Starts Tomorrow
So at like 6:53 I thought "hell, let's throw Brandon Knight into the lineup."
30 points, 15 assists, and 10 rebounds for 45 fantasy points.
Not bad.

fuuck. you have a 5-game advantage in this match-up. which turned into six games with Durant not yet being back for the Memphis game. My guys will have to seriously out-perform your team for me to win.

2 year deal for Ish Smith - $1
Val getting hurt really hurts. This has been my problem last 2 years, random injuries like broken fingers taking my players out for months at a time
