I am responding very late to this thread but I didn't get to watch the game until early this morning. Once again, loved our poise down the stretch on a back to back against a Sixers team that has played everyone tough so far. I knew Elfrid would bounce back, too talented of a player not to. What he did is what he needs to do going forward and that's being decisive and in attack mode all game. We are a much better team when he stays aggressive.
Evan was money as he has been so far this season. Turning himself to be an extremely underrated two-way player in the league. His shot looks great, he can finish a variety of ways, plays smart defense, and can set up his teammates as well. Rob killed that trade when he shipped off Afflalo for him.
Everyone else was solid but Jason Smith stood out to me. This is looking like an extremely low-key awesome signing by Rob to add him to our bench. I did not realize how much toughness he plays with and how he can be an enforcer when necessary. The challenge at the rim on Okafor's dunk attempt and baiting Noel into swinging at his head were beautiful. He knew exactly what he was doing when he gave that elbow shot to Noel's chest. He is the prime "I hate this guy but love him if he was on my team" type player, at least for me he is. Great win!
Looking forward to playing the Pacers next.
