Well this was an absolutely AMAZING f*ckin game... Most enjoyable Pistons game I can remember watching in a while. Those back to back wins last year against Dallas and San Antonio were awesome, but this was somethin else... Maybe the best game I've seen since like 2007-2008. Reggie devoured Portland's soul in that 4th quarter lol... The Eastern Conference is on notice, Detroit basketball is coming...

Some reason it seems boom or boondock, the okc mod always finds these posts about jackson,so I will include him as one of the posters who didnt really dog jackson and has been a class act thru it all...Your welcome dock lol.

Just Imagine if they we able to keep RJ and Harden

Jackson
Westbrook
Harden
Durant
Ibaka

Small ball but it probably wouldn't even matter lol

Wonder if they could of afford em all tho? Definitly would of been one hell of a team, even with jackson off the bench, couple of decent backups and they might be the golden state warriors around here.

i don't think keeping them was ever really a option, its more what they got in return. Both rj and Harden need the ball to be effective and play to strengths, rather have the ball in RW or KD's hands personally. They got Lamb, Augustine, Singler, & Kanter. oh and a 2nd round pick to seal the deal

Yeah you can't have that many players that need the ball and if they played together, they wouldn't be as good as they are now AND money money money. They all want to be paid and deserve it. OKC has some great drafting.

To be fair, OKC fans had every right to feel that way and RJ i think had the right to play the way he did after the FO basically told him no. OKC for whatever reason doesn't seem to communicate effecitvely with players not named RW and KD.

???

Bondom and Spearsy have a entire catering service of crow they'll have to eat. Those 2 , when it comes to RJ are completely blinded by hate.

I wouldn't rank RJ in the "elite category" just yet, but he sure as hell is worth the money we paid and he's still developing. If he ever becomes a better defender, you'd probaly have to add him up their with the elite pg's. Not many elite pg's that play both sides of the ball effectively.

Games are still cheap as ****.. If we got ten of us, we could get great seats for less than 20 dollars a piece.. I say after all-star break sometime.. I'd seriously do it.. Would be cool to watch the game with real fans and fans I've known/talked to for years.

trying, believe me so sad i missed it, especially after reading the thread. FUnny how some posters all of a sudden STFU when the teams doing well. lol

ya man, i recall every year feeling like "listen now b*'s, piston's legit this year, we going to tear up the world, F* ya Josh Smith is a SF that can shoot 3's", to only be dissappointed and frustrated with not only our roster, but coach and FO.

Its so reassuring seeing a team out there play the way Detroit basektball should be played. And i agree, lets get seats right behind the bench.

"ILLLLY!!!!!"

"ILLLLLY"

"Come here!""

"Dude!!!!! shoot the f* ball, or Manocad going to punch a entire nursey full of babies..........go get'em tiger"

Yea,couldnt remember his name, but you know what,he at least has been pretty good about it lately..

Honestly I wouldnt mind if he ended up like a conley, conley might not be at the top,but give me a pg like that, conley reminds me of alot like billups, good team leader and does alot of the small things, very dependable.Hoping jackson ends up that way.If jackson can at least keep up 75% of what hes been doing, while also getting his money, gives me alot of hope for the future with him.

Adams is another nice piece. The one thing though is, while they are good at drafting, they suck at trading and suck even more at development. Lamb, PJIII, Perkins, Adams, RJ. You look at all those players and they essentially were the same players that they were when they got to OKC. idk what it is, but OKC seems to shoot themselves in foot alot.
