Has to go to Mr "What Situation?" Payton. Loved it.

Tobias gets some serious props for his consistency, reliability and that awesome block on Okafor. He sonned him good.

Dude... that's an in and out, behind the back dribble going full speed in a straight direction. That takes some skill.

This reminds me of Flo Jo: big hair, huge nails, jewellery and all - she still smoke the field in the 100 m.

If you watch the Payton highlights, he broke both Philly runs (when they were up 13-4 he hit 2 shots and assisted at EF 3) and then when they cut it to 3 he took over. He's the sweater vest hands down.

Regarding Smith, yes it's a bit dirty, but he's smart enough to keep the blow to the body. Worst case is flagrant 1. Noel acting like a young guy immediately went for the head which is a auto eject. I see both sides of this, but if you pay attention you'll see this sort of stuff happening esp with the more veteran teams. Not as blatant clearly, but blows to the low back when posting up and "accidental elbows" when getting rebounds like Dwight used to do aaaaalll the time. It's on the refs to see it and mete out punishment. They probably should have at least given JS a Flagrant 1, but it is what it is.

It seems pretty clear something else happened before. Plus it's just a little contact, it's not like he swung his elbow the way D12 used to at times.

Personally I like it, he brings a touch of toughness that we've lacked for years. Smith gets my vote. Noel overreacted.

I knew Elfrid would bounce back. Thanks for not letting me down sir! Played great.

Great team win but props to Jason Smith bringing that toughness off the bench. Noel was talking **** the whole game to Dedmon and Smith when Philly would make their runs and Jason gave him a good shot in the chest basically saying shut the **** up and play ball. Clearly Noel didn't want to play ball anymore and swung with that weak ass hook across the back of Jason's head which he didn't even react to. Veteran play there.

Dedmon must have been talking trash too, right? Noel seems too mild-mannered and on too poor of a team to run his mouth all on his own.

Yeah it was a bit of back and forth between the two. Noel was definitely doing a lot of the talking though, not really sure why.

Eh, doesn't seem that bad to me. Seems more like a dumb foul than a cheap shot. Noel was looking right at him, maybe even mouthing off at him. Maybe we missed something on the other side of the court prior to this?

**** that. What is anyone sticking up for Noel? I love it. Elbow that weak bitch again Jason. Nerlens went to retaliate and just randomly hurt his chest. I want to see that **** from our players.

Went EP. Good to see him with a strong game and perfect from the line! Also Mario seems to be calming down and staying in control. He still going have his poor games but this game seemed like he was confident in what he was doing and slowed down. Can't wait for his first 30 point game ;-)
The hero Orlando deserves is out there somewhere, Dwight was not the one we needed. So we will hunt for him...
