RJ playing like allstar gets ppl to stfu. I remember last year when RJ was tearing it up and those 2 couldn't come to grips with it. they were so sure he sucked.

Honestly I wouldnt mind if he ended up like a conley, conley might not be at the top,but give me a pg like that, conley reminds me of alot like billups, good team leader and does alot of the small things, very dependable.Hoping jackson ends up that way.If jackson can at least keep up 75% of what hes been doing, while also getting his money, gives me alot of hope for the future with him.

If he can become another chancey were he can balance getting his and figuring out when out team needs to get theirs, i could care less about his stats. Winning is whats important, and the important thing is i htink our team understands that as a whole

I think I made alot of enemies in this board bc of those people. one of them is a moderator too. I got **** from all of them bc I said things like greg monroe is the worst defense big in the league and has to go, then I said reggie will average 20 5 5 and be better then chauncey and got crushed, then i said forever in this forum we needed to get reggie badly. its nice to see i was right all along but i stopped posting bc it got WAY TOO disrespectful, not trying to be a bitch but to get teamed up, man **** that.

Monroe lovers are salty tho and they should be. they didnt know basketball as well as they thought they did.

Go Pistons!!!

Jackson played a decent game. He did what a 80mil-type player is supposed to do when your team is losing. He's currently leading the Pistons to W's, so I gotta respect that.

@BFB: :D

Reggie drops 40 on nearly 60% shooting and you consider that decent?

Nah I agree Fekz is a good poster, I only quoted him because his comment about Reggie sucks around the rim, just doesn't make sense because in my opinion Reggie's best skill is driving and attacking the rim.

but he said it was out of frustration, so it's all good.

WOW, What a game!!!! By far, one of the most enjoyable Pistons games I've seen in the past decade. Watching the team defense in the fourth was phenomenal. I watched the replay of the 4th to see if it was our Defense or Portland just throwing the game away. I saw some defensive plays from both Reggie and Drummond (Blocking Lenard's Dunk and getting the ball in midair was nice) I saw timely shots and an intensity on the defensive end I haven't seen since the BIG BEN FRO days. Just AWESOME EFFORT.

I was thoroughly impressed with Andre's postup shots tonight. Not only did he get 29pts, but there were about 6 or 7 shots he scored from getting the ball and making smooth moves to the hoop. That is by far the best he's ever looked posting up the ball. If he can add that element to his game. GAME ON, LEAGUE.

Reggie really led this team back tonight, KCP kept us in it early and they never folded and gave up. WHAT A WIN. GO PISTONS.

I haven't worked out the maths, but I just read what SVG had to say after the game, and he claimed that Drummond could grab 0 rebounds the rest of this trip and still lead the league in rebounding. Is this true? :eek1:

I also have to give love to kcp in that 4th,I swear,it seems every game,he turns that defense up and makes some really good defensive stops,Also not really mentioned, didnt morris have like 3 steals damn near in a row in the 4th ?would also like to say that these game time threads have been some of the best in recent years, all things considered.

No, he said something like he'd average 12 or so and be in the top 2 or 3. So, no big deal.

Not only was KCP and Morris forcing turnovers, but Morris, KCP and Dre were saving balls from going out of bounds to secure extra possessions. It was just an incredible defensive effort. Tolliver as well with a nice screen that set up a bucket late. Andre with a huge block against Leonard. Just beautiful to watch. It looked like playoff basketball. :)

2 of the Cali games will be wins too.

I also think we're gonna win 2 of the 3 against the Kings, Clippers and Lakers. I'm pretty much chalking up the Warriors game as a loss, but hoping we can be competitive. Very tough team to draw on the second night of a back to back... Any lapse in defense or effort and they can put 10 points on you in a hurry. I remember that building being really loud back to those run and gun minimal defense teams Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson were on, but it's at another level now... Very hard place to play.

I forgot about the sac game. 3 wins in cali.

Swear i'm not just saying that cuz of last night's win.

Some sound man defense by Tolliver, KCP and Dre as well. Just an incredible defensive effort by all 5 guys. Even Tolliver set a good screen to set up a Jackson basket as the end.

Holy Hell what a turnaround! I picked a good time to root for Detroit as my surrogate team. I was fully prepared to write a concession speech around "Well you have to tip your hat to Portland, they played unselfishly and made great shots..." but then the 4th quarter happened.

Drummond is getting amazingly smooth with that hook shot. Wow, is his post game coming along. It's nice to see a team develop their young, promising big men.

Really starting to think that Reggie is holding back until the 4th quarter b/c of the lack of PG depth. If I'm right, this team is really going to get another gear when Jennings is ready.

Solid contributions from Blake, Baynes, KCP and Tolliver. They did a good job of keeping the team within striking distance.

Return to Detroit Pistons
