I want a cupholder based on the crowd aspect. I'm not clapping and cheering as much if I'm sitting with a beer in my hand with nowhere to put it.

That's fair. I guess I am more of a quiet guy at games who would rather checks his phone on stats than necessarily start clapping and cheering

Any time I've ever tried listening to any type of musical performance in the BC it has sounded absolutely awful. I don't know if that's construction related or just bad speakers, but it should be corrected in the new arena.

Just heard my first concert at the Bradley Center a few weeks ago and I couldn't understand a single word being said. The acoustics were that awful.

Hopefully HK architects learned from Consol in Pittsburgh. Haven't been to any other arenas designed by them. The place has crap acoustics for conveying the fan noise. It never seems loud in there from fan generated noise. But it has ok accoustics to blast crap music in between play. I'd rather have the former.

When I saw Dierks Bentley after an Admirals game we were on the other side of the BC from the stage and it sounded like I was drinking in somebody's garage listening to an iPod playing through a homemade solo cup speaker.

I was in the same situation at the concert (seats staight back behind the opposite basket) but thought it sounded amazing. That said, I probably would've thought the solo speaker sounded amazing, too, in the state I was in.

That does bring up a good point on if it is a mutual exclusive thing to trap crowd noise versus great acoustics.

They're making new renderings with more black people.

Also, if you click that link, please take two minutes to admire Dave Begel's eyebrows.

I read that Schumacher article the other day and immediately knew when the Bucks renderings came out that there would be issues. I guess the Bucks didn't read same article.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

I can't believe they're redoing it. If they're going to redo anything, add more people so there's actually a sellout in the bowl rendering.

Or you know, give us actual renderings. We wonder why crap doesn't get done? It seems like everyone in Milwaukee, from politicians not granting the 4th street closure, to a crap journalist who wants to write about representations of minorities in an architectural drawing, is holding this up.

neither of those things have held up the arena project.

The day and age we live in is all about click bait. "Controversy" makes people click and visit a site. Just like we have done with this link.

The Bucks should release a new rendering with Hammond on the phone with a name tag that says General Manager just to troll Begel.

They (the renderings) are so photorealistic that they have enormous persuasive power in the culture at large

UWM students came up with some ideas for the arena district. Pretty cool slideshow.
