Yup. After Joe he was a huge reason we won game 7 in Toronto.

I remember Thornton getting off to a good start with us, then bricking shots for a while, and then finally coming through in the TOR series.

Yes, that is right. He was such a streaky player.

He's been playing at a pretty high level right which makes sense. Houston is where guys who play half a season for us go to revitalize their careers. The corpse of Jason Terry was able to hit shots, make an impact; now Thornton is off to a strong start.

I see RHJ has joined Brook as the only Nets privileged enough to don the black jersey. Everyone else is an an asset at this point.

It's a bit ironic, but with the Nets going for "integrity" and "good culture", they ended up with a team without any scorers(chuckers). No one is a threat to explode on any given night. I thought they'd have went hard for Gerald Green. They shoot you out of many games, but would win one or two, which is more than what has been happening with the lineups that have been trotted out by the Nets.

Thornton. Only 28. He was available to anyone. If I'm not mistaken, I even saw him play summer league. Signed for the minimum with the Rockets... kind of weird how little he was valued(although he was awful in Phoenix from what I saw).

Remember when everyone wanted Ty Lawson this offseason.

10.9 Pts (35.3% FG / 33.3% 3pt)
5.7 Assists
2.9 TOs

He is streaky but when he is on he's a flamethrower.

The good culture will become toxic within 3 more weeks of this crap. I'm at the point where I don't even care anymore.

Another loss and I'd be surprised if this wasn't a blowout. Houston always owns the Nets.

Yeah the last few match ups have been horrible, I do recall Markel having a good defensive showing against Harden but who cares. They are STACKED. I would be stunned if we don't lose by 20 or better especially if morale is low.

Johnson and Jack need to be in the second unit. We're a bad team but things need to be shaken up. Get Bogs starting with RHJ and get a faster, younger squad on the floor. If we're going to lose, lose with guys that need to play

At PG i don't even care. Let Markel start there, it isn't like any of the other guys are moving the ball at that spot. Or maybe play Sloan and see how he does. The rotation needs to be Lopez/Thad/RHJ/Bojan/whoever and give me TROB as the first player off of the bench. Why TROB? he's the only other player outside of RHJ that is a positive when on the floor. He gives max effort. Play him

Hollins has two major flaws that doesn't help the situation...he's trying to run an old school style way of playing when guys need to be cutting and running to make up for the fact that we cannot shoot and he plays favorites too much. A BLIND man can see how bad Jack and Joe have been, neither of them are playing above an F tier level. Cut their minutes. If we cant shoot put 4 athletic young guys (I consider Bojan to be athletic, not a dunker or anything but he isnt a stiff like Joe) out there with Lopez and play an aggressive style and attempt to force TOs and get in transition.

you either adjust or this will continue to go downhill. These guys have ONE quality, and is that despite their talent they fight. They've done so in pretty much every game but if we hit double digit losses without a win guys will go through the motion, the coach will be fired, and this season will make 12-70 look like the glory days because at least we knew we had light at the end of the tunnel.

I think we match up well vs Houston

They are going small which is to our benefit. Thad has been having trouble with bigger PFs
