Who could they trade for that would save this season and not involve the 3 main young guys?

It's very simple: Scott is trying to save his Lakers legacy and image by trying to win games... The Lakers however have given him tons of young players who are still learning the game.. There seems to be a confusion on the direction of the team...

Don't look now but the Grizzles/Kings/Pelicans who were supposed to be good bets to make the playoffs have gotten worse this season.'the only challenge to make the playoffs is going through the Wolves and I don't think the Wolves can hold forth in a 82 game season... of course there is a chance the teams who are struggling now change there season around.

I still wanna know why Bass who was a major part of the Celtics making a run at the playoffs is playing out of position and is probably not gonna be in the long term plans anymore.. Seems like the Lakers sign players for either piling up assets or destroying there value.

Metta has been the most pleasant surprise thus far. Glad he's back. Julius and Nance have also exceeded my expectations.

Metta knows how to play team ball. That's why he's valuable to this team. Too many me-first ball stoppers, LEAGUE-LEADING ballstoppers.

Kobe, Nick, and Lou on the same team is so ludicrous. It's a joke that's not funny, just stupid and sad.

The sweet thing is we are all set for the future: Clarkson and Randle are showing some elite ball-stopping qualities.

I bet we would have won a couple games this year just playing Russell, Huertas, Metta, Nance, Hibbert, Kelly, Black...

even if Scott insists on running ISO's, those players would just ignore him and play good basketball.

All those teams are still better than us though

I'm gonna get flack for this...

But we should go..

PG: Clarkson
SG: Kobe Bryant
SF: Metta World Peace
PF: Julius Randle
C: Roy Hibbert

Just my opinion. I realize it's less "development" but it also gives the second unit of Young/Black/Williams/Nance someone who can create (Russell) instead of someone like Lou (who's looking for his own shot the majority of the time) and Nick Young (who's looking for his shot period).

I'm just trying to think of a reason why we shouldn't go with the lineup I mentioned above and besides "it may hurt Russell's feelings," I can't come up with one bad reason.

#1 -- Our team is much bigger, will help on the glass (which we're currently being absolutely demolished).

#2 -- MWP is hitting the three at a really good clip right now, having him and Clarkson as the floor spacers would be good to surround Kobe, Hibbert, and Randle with.

#3 -- It gets the ball into Kobe's hands more as a PLAYMAKER, where he should be. He took on this role last year and was excellent. He averaged lower shot attempts and way more assists. His FG% during this span actually took a step up as well, because he was taking for the most part, shots he HAD to take.

#4 -- Takes the ball handling responsibilities out of the hands of Lou Williams and Nick Young. Those guys can come off screens from Black/Nance and whoever's the more open guy can get the pass from Russell. We can also play pick and roll (Tarik) and pick and pop (Nance).

#5 -- When Russell actually gets past the emotion side of it and not starting, it's actually a better role. He can be more aggressive and it puts shooters all over the court for him.

Anyone else any negativity with a lineup of Clarkson/Kobe/MWP/Randle/Hibbert?

Bad timing... Russell's finally showing real signs of improvement, yanking him out of the starting Lineup right now would be a monumentally bad idea.

MWP has been good, but our top priority is still to get our 3 younguns on the same page and effective.

IF you want MWP to start, sit Kobe.

Playoffs?
I hope you have NBA 2k16, cause that's the only way that's happening

This is a 15-22 win team. Tops
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team
