Still early in the season, but i've long suspected that Goran was another ball dominant player and now that he has to be 3rd option behind Bosh and Wade it'll heavily impact his stats. Now Goran has had stronger stats the past few years but he's always played in a free wheeling system that fit his skillset, and i personally never thought Lin was ever that far behind him if only he played in a system that suited him. One got a max contract and the other got 2 mil, it's crap like this that pisses me off about the various negative narratives that have impacted Lin's career.
Jess @JLuss11
@JLin7 thank you SO much for calling Justin today, it really meant the absolute world to him #JustinStrong

Justin Lee is a 16 year old, sophomore from Vienna, VA that attends Marshall High School in Falls Church, VA. Prior to being stricken by the rare virus, acute flaccid myelitis, Justin was a perfectly healthy and happy teenager. He simply loved spending time with family and friends; he loved bringing smiles and laughter to all around him with his gifted sense of humor; he loved playing sports and excelled particularly in basketball and football. He played basketball and football at Marshall HS in both his freshmen and sophomore years. He is incredibly well loved by many including friends, teachers, and coaches.
On February 27, 2015, Justin was admitted to Fairfax hospital for a virus. He quickly declined and has been in a coma in the pediatric ICU since then. He was diagnosed with acute flaccid myelitis which is a recently named rare new virus. There is no known treatment for it. The virus has caused damage to Justin's brain stem and spinal cord.
His Mom, Jisue, has been by his side the whole time. She is a real estate agent who earns her living on sales commisions and has been unable to work since February. Insurance has already denied some claims and will not cover all the hospital bills, and her absence from work has caused and will continue to cause financial hardship.
Once Justin stabilizes a little more, he will be transferred to Kennedy Kreiger pediatric rehabilitation center in Baltimore (Hopkins). Jisue will stay in the center with Justin initially and is already on a waiting list at a nearby Ronald McDonalds house in Baltimore.

I'm one of those supporters for
1) If Lin doesn't play well and doesn't get to close out games, at least he'd still get 20 mins instead of 16-17.
2) If he does play well he'd get 25-27 instead of 21-23.
3) Kemba would still get his fair share of minutes if Lin comes in 2 mins earlier, the difference between 34 mins and 30 mins is marginal for Kemba but for Lin the difference between 16 and 20 is huge.
Even last game when Lin was balling and got to close out the game he only played 21 mins, while Kemba didn't close out the game and ended up with 25. Just doesn't add up to me. Not sure why Lin has been coming in later and later every game. He is a rhythm player as well, it's difficult to get into a groove when you jump in with 2 minutes left in the quarter and expect to get results for the 8 minutes that you're there until potentially getting subbed out.

I also think we should play more small ball in the 4th quarters, replace Hawes and PJ with a combination of Kemba/Lin/Lamb along with Batum, Williams and Zeller.
Thanks for the honesty.MorbidHEAT wrote:My dislike for Lin started during Linsanity. It was absurd. It's probably irrational dislike at this point, but man he gets on my nerves. He's been tearing us up though.

Yeah but we can't rag on Goran for getting what he can get. Lin took a huge pay cut to prove and up his worth after the last 2 dismal seasons. His intention is certainly not to settle in as a 2M player in the long run so that's where he's at right now....trying to set himself up for the new CBA.
