never really liked Fisher's game. Feels like a 4 year guy that should be solid in college but I don't see a long term NBA career for him. We'll see what he does at UNLV but im not expecting much.

Ayton and Bags is a nasty combo. I think it helps Bags moreso because now he doesn't have to be the "big" on the team and can showcase more of his versatility on the floor.

Ulis is a 2 year college player if he wants to be. Enjoy him this year. Amazing.

Well that's just not true. Duke have been known as heavy favorites for over a year now. UK has never been considered a favorite with Giles. Before Duke UNC was considered a favorite. UK has never been better than 3rd with Giles

Fischella wrote:It is not that he has lost them, he is just not the best at that anymore, Coach K is, since he got engaged on one&dones and understood the system he has consistently beat Calipari badly.
And rightfully so, he coaches in a better program, university and is a much (light years) better coach.
I think Monk will end up in Arkansas and stay home, like Newman committed to Mississippi St.
Alkins seems to be focused on NCSt. and Simmons could be a darkhorse but has favored Ohio St. heavily until now.
They might get Kobi and Fox, that's about it.
Duke is going to have one of best classes of all time, Giles, Tatum, Jackson, DeLaurier and Bolden most likely.

I'm sorry but this is not true. K has been getting OADs since 2010 and the only time he did a better job at hauling in OADs in one class was last year with Oak, Tyus and Justise. And still some thought it was debatable who had the top class. This past year guess who has the #1 class? It's UK. Duke has another class where they are only going to get one OAD while UK has multiple. While I do think Duke lands Giles and will have the top class, again it will be like last year where the top class and gap between the 2nd class isn't huge. Also Bolden is going to Kansas not UK. So to say K is constantly beating Cal badly in recruiting is just false. K is close to catching up to him and beat him 1 year barely. But Cal is still bringing in the most OAD talent

so Josh Jackson is the only one of the tentative number 1 candidates in the 2017 draft that hasn't had to come back from injury.

I can do that...

Not saying that Briscoe does or doesn't have good touch, but a video of Briscoe doing a trick shot in a practice setting with no one guarding him is a terrible way to make your point.

Seventh Woods to UNC. My prediction was correct way earlier.

Despite all the scandal Roy is recruiting pretty well getting 3 guys from the top 100.

Yeah, it looks like we will survive, likely Paige, Johnson, James, seniors, and Jackson and Meeks will possibly leave, that will leave us with,

Britt-Berry-White
Williams-Woods
Pinson-Robinson
Hicks-Maye
Bradley

Not too flashy but we should survive.

This is an awesome thread, but it might be better if we had a thread for each draft class. Thoughts?

we usually end up doing that once a class becomes the current class. This ended up basically being HS prospect and AAU talk when it intially started off basically covering just the 2015 class.

Yes, I know. I've been following it for a long time, but now it's really, really long. I'm trying to isolate the 2016-7 talent (I realize it changes depending on the decisions of the schools, the condition of the players, and an infinite number of other factors but I try - lol). A sticky with each draft class (rolling them out after the draft is over) would just make it a lot easier. Just one man's opinion.

http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1413541#start_here is 2015-6 topic - still a work-in-progress but far along. 2016-7 topic will go online Sunday and I'll look to add a 2017-8 topic sometime next week.

Thanks!

And Leaf to UCLA, both expected, I doubt Calipari gets anybody else from this class honestly.

De'Aaron Fox reminds me so much of John Wall. The way he plays. Way he moves. His mannerisms. It's kinda freaky. There was only one place to go play.

Excited to see that they'res nobody as fast with the ball as Wall.

Fox apparently has a better jumper then Wall so it sounds like this kids a stud
