Ugly, ugly win but I'd much rather start terribly and finish strong than the opposite. I was really impressed by Mbah a Moute's defense. Jamal gave us one of his best performances when we needed it most. Blake did well to pace himself to have enough left in the tank to knock down a big time shot at the end. They earned their long rest ahead.

caught a snippet from doc last night about him wanting more spacing as the reason for not playing lance (even though LR played 10+ minutes).

i'm thinking it was one of those message sits: i.e. if you keep passing up open shots at the 3 then you don't play. that i'm totally ok with because it just might work.

Well he's still have to make them at a good rate to actually help spacing, and even then, because of history, it will take a long time before teams adjust. Similarly, because of history, teams will still guard Pierce and worry about him from the perimeter even if he's missing, similarly, Jamal.
