Just logged back on to complain about it, as a matter of fact. I couldn't care less about winning games this season; they don't mean anything. Just don't understand not throwing your point guard of the future into the fire and letting him learn. Only way you can learn and get experience is by playing, one small bit at a time.
As far as winning....we're not getting our lotto pick so the losing by all means mantra is dead also. Sooner or later you have to start turning the corner on winning some games to get decent.
May be you don't want people getting their hopes up or focusing on losing so early, but lakers have the 4th worst record and those pick is too 3 protected. One of the team's they're better than are the Pelicana that should starting winning once their players get back.
Lakers are almost assuredly going to be a bottom 5 team, so it's not a stretch to imagine the possibility of keeping the pick.
Anyway, not caring about winning doesn't mean you want to lose by all means aka tank. I don't think sedale was saying he wants the lakers to lose, he just doesn't see the value in playing for the win if it means sacrificing developmental opportunities
Yes. All I care about this season is giving Russell and Randle, and to a lesser extent Clarkson, opportunities to learn on the job and get better. That should be priority No. 1, with nothing else coming close, for our team at this point. And if we happen to hang on to our pick -- bonus. (Ben Simmons is going to be a superstar.)
