If this is really your thought process in regards to Winslow, then you probably have Ronda Hollis Jefferson, Oubre and Justin ANderson as your next top prospects. Who aren't as bball skill but Athleticism and potential are high. Your trying to argue that 5 years from now Winslow is going to be a ton better than 5 years from now SJ. Unfortunetly there's nothing you can put on the table and no relevant sample size to back a argument either way.

Your essentially saying i'm ignoring context and just stating what you think. You also state JW's potential while ignoring SJ's like its not realistic. SJ brings his own unique set that JW can never match and vice versa. Depending on how you value characteristics like Vertical jump and versatility will dictate which side of the fence you fall on. JW has all the energy to be a shut down defender because essentially they play 4-5 on the other end. Teams are guarding Miami to let JW shoot open shots. So before you go off thinking he's the next lebron, remember CONTEXT! There's literally nothing you can derive that statistically or logically will prove your point or that SJ or JW are better than the other.

I still can't believe we went with Steve Blake all those times the guy is clearly done. Stan dun goofed.

yes and no, we say that because of how dinwiddie played yesterday , however he's by no means consistent. He could very well had a poor game and we'd be like. BRING BACK WHITE CHOCOLATE . PLEEEEASE!

Steve Blake is more a proven commodity and through this road trip has had great and bad moments but as a vet you can sort of rely on. I just thought he should used blake like Jl3 last year. Dinwiddie gets the nod, but if he doesn't produce then Blake is taking over. I also think SD maturity level isn't as high as we all think, and i think SVG benched him to let him know, its not acceptable and he has to bring it. if anything Dinwiddie brings defense which our bench sorely misses

Only thing that I can think of,is he is trying to loosely say you were attacking him instead of the discussion,it sucks,I know.

Lol

This is a sports forum were heated discussion over games, teams, players are going to happen.Honestly, you should only get a lifetime ban if you are repeatedly attacking a poster, attacking them instead of the arguement..But some mods take it wayyy to far...Oh well,we have our hands full with just this board and team lol.

except that RJ has got them involved they jsut missed shots. Also i believe ISO-Ball is the wrong term. The pick and roll involves 2 players , which isn't iso ball. And the PNR is essentially our offense. What doesn't work is our chemistry in the PNR between our PG and Center. How many oops have they had!?

You can't only criticize a team when they're losing, you have to look at how they're winning and what can be improved upon to ensure that we keep winning.

don't understand this comment. Don't recall anyone not critizing our team even when we were winning. Our offense has never been good, our shooting has never been good, our PNR and bench has never been good. This is not a relvalation. The problem is that posters are blaming everything on RJ, which is granted but not entirely accurate. Pistons team = 5 players.

Marcus needs to come off the bench, we can't have a ball dominant PG with a PF that needs the ball in his hands to be effective.

 :banghead:

You of course realize Mook is essentially coming off the bench? SVG passed several games pulls mook about 5 minutes in and then has him come back out with the bench unit. The problem isn't mooks ball dominance, the problem is that we get mook the ball in places he's more than likely to fail. Same thing with Illy and Tolliver. When we are asking them to put the ball on the floor and create, they look like sh*. When we get them open looks and run the offense there "UNDERATED". Past 3 games, Mook has been attacking from the 3 point line facing up and it seems he's driven further and further out. The first 4-5 games, majority of time we got him the ball in the base line. Yet we didn't mind ball dominance because the ball was going in.

Send a PM to Howard Mass so at least you'll get your complaint on the record, and also post a complaint in the Feedback and Suggestions forum. Truthfully though don't expect much too happen. He's got a looooong history of the exact same complaint as yours. That's why I retired from being a mod; it has become a "protect each other" good ol' boy network. Not the Pistons mods mind you; they've all been good and have always had a reputation for being fair with everyone.

Ya Han , let it go. RealGM wants to give the impression that they are all about everyones opinion and equal treatment with in the rules, however Mods break there same rules all over the site, and when reported are basically the response is "THEY ARE A GOOD MODERATOR". I got suspended for snapping back at a moderator who was attacking me in private messages(yes private mesages), and when i asked Howard why i am suspended, he said "for attacking a moderator". The same mod you also mentioned went back and deleted his post in which he attacked me. CGC wrote about it i think like 2 years ago.

Its embarrassing that company has such a immature fraternity mindset, however if you want to continue to participate you just have to suck it up and take it. There's nothing you can do. The only encouragment i can offer is that RealGM will never grow as a business if they continue to ignore the obvious problems, or get to a point where mods like tsherkin are no longer tolerated because of the bottomline. Either way, guys like that are closer to there way out than sticking around.

We are truly lucky cuz our mods essentially are the model for what a moderator should be. Facilitate discussion, elimate trolls. Though they slacking on maker  8-) :D

Good advice.

Plus if have the means, you can finish every response to a power hungry mod with "By the way, I make more than you do. A LOT more." It really gets to them when they know it's true. :)

I remember when proSportsdaily was booming.. Our game threads over there would be like here.. They got this mod "Jeffy25" or something.. I actually warned them he'd hurt traffic.. Go over there now and it's a ghost town.. You can ruin your fanbase with bad moderation. I seen it happen there.

Thanks man, appreciate the advice.

I'm obviously late to the party on this one (my stupid work blocked realgm on my stupid work computer), but Manocad is right.

Generally speaking, I don't post on the GB anymore.
I probably shouldn't post that, but it's true. It can get crazy on there and I just don't want to deal with that. I took that stance after i got suspended for a very minor thing. It's not worth the hassle since very few people on there actually know anything about Detroit.

DV33 is thats the truth then you should most definitely post it.

You also make a very relevant point that The GB is litered with ignorant comments about detroit, that are defended by Detroit fans, who are subsequently "suspended".

There's also a apparently history with Detroit fan base and other fans bases that some mods still hold grudges against from years past. Yes we are talking about adults acting like children.

Many people defending players when we had criticism for them, not an issue because we're winning apparently.. Everyone is jumping in here criticizing the team when they started to lose. Me and some others were criticizing the team while we were winning because we didn't like way we were winning and knew it wasn't sustainable.

It's called not being satisfied. Like I said, you take your wins and you focus on what you can improve on, instead of just being a cheerleader because we're winning.
