I was just thinking about this too. With an offense this bad, you'd expect a ton of interceptions from your Qb. He only has 1 in this strong of losses and it was only because he had to throw it. I wish he'd go out there and just sling it. I'll trade an interception for a couple of those ridiculous catches Jones made in the Carolina game

Edit: and I can't believe I actually want Rodgers to play like Favre

The D isn't elite, but it isn't bad either. I'd say slightly above average. They are 11th in points against this year right now. They have played well enough for us to win 7 of our 9 games with even an average offense.

It's had really nice home stretches, but they've given up the most big plays in the league and the pass rush the last few weeks has been pathetic.

And as bad as they've played, the offense has played worse. It's unbelievable. We're basically playing like we did when Rodgers was down in 2013 except we still have Rodgers

I think the safeties looked better and just getting Hayward out of the outside CB is a major upgrade for this team. We also need to limit the time Hyde sees the field because teams are actively targeting him when he is in the game.

The total lack of pass rush is just astounding to me, I don't get it, the pieces are there.

If I didn't know better, we are playing like our coaching staff has lost the team. I just don't think that is the case, but the sheer amount of under performance across the board is staggering. I would say Starks is the only player that looks better this year than last year (of guys that played/on the roster), just about everyone else looks worse including all 5 offensive line man.

Yeah someone needs to remind AR that you win games by scoring points not by TD/INT ratio.

It's amazing how the passing game has evolved over the decades. In 1974 we traded for 34 year old Jon Hadl during the season (how often does a starting QB get traded during the season). At the time of the trade he had 5 TD's, 6 picks and a passer rating of 57.9. He finished the season in GB with 3 TD's and 8 picks. The next year, his only full season in GB he had 6 TD's and 21 picks.

WE TRADED 2 FIRST, 2 SECONDS AND A THIRD FOR HIM!

Incredible bonehead move by Devine (who quit after the season).
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I was at the game and we were awful. People say we'll go 10-6 and make the playoffs with a healthy Rodgers and nothing else, I disagree. We are in danger of missing the playoffs this year with a healthy Rodgers. People cite the Super Bowl year and we did have some bad losses at the beginning of that year, but we didn't look this bad.

Said Devine, however, "We still have everything for the 1975 draft but our first and third choices, and that includes two second-round picks. The Rams originally wanted players, and we got it down to the draft choices. We have a lot of people on injured reserve who, when healthy, will give us an overcomplement of players, so replacing those draft choices is not going to be any problem if and when we want to do it."

Yep I wouldn't trade Rodgers for anyone but him being conservative is hurting the offense. It is part of the perfect storm of receivers not getting open, worse oline and no Lacy. I know it is hurry up but when Rodgers needs to sling it the offense has looked good. It is hard to explain but it was like you could tell if it was a good throw or not before the camera pans to the receiver.

I know it's cliche but the team seems to need someone to rile them up a bit. Maybe 9 years of MM has worn on the vets? I don't know, just throwing **** on the wall and see what sticks.

Actually football-wise, I think new assistants are in order. The blitzing is awful, with guys just running into the OL and not setting up the blitz. It seems like no one has any counter moves when rushing the passer. LBs are late in reacting. Certain players shouldn't be playing in certain matchups, Hyde against anyone one-on-one. On offense, the OL is just missing blocks and not communicating what-so-ever, allowing free rushes and stunts to go unblocked. WR issues are well documented but they really need to stack them and run more pick plays. And Rodgers needs to wake up.

It's so weird to see the whole team just suck like this out of the blue. I know it's not, but it seems like they just quit on MM.

No way around it this was a horrid performance. To a man everyone on this offense needs to play better.

Bright side is there's 7 games left and because of the 6 and 0 start they are still in the mix for a playoff spot. There's time to turn it around.

This season now has a 2002 Bucks feel to it,it's almost eerily similar after this game today.

Haha was just going to make the 2002 Bucks reference after I was done reading through the thread.

I have no idea what's happening with Rodgers - it's like his version of the yips. Too often, I see him about to throw somewhere, hesitate, and then flee the pocket immediately, when he can probably stay for a bit longer. And the over-reliance on this back shoulder business with receivers who haven't yet developed the proper timing (Adams) is hurting us too.

This was a real possibility with the Seattle loss last year. The emotional hangover. It happened to Sherman after 4th and 26 too. If we don't miraculously get it together, we might see things get worse.

I suggest bailing out emotionally. For your happiness.

It's hard to say there was an emotional hangover when they started 6-0 and beat the team that would cause the emotional hangover in week 2.

The running game has been awful. The offensive line has been awful. Rodgers hasn't been his near perfect self. The receivers are terrible at getting separation and defenses now know it so they play press coverage all game. The defense can beat crappy offense but struggles with decent and better offenses.

It's all Ditka's fault. As soon as I saw that MotherFér in a Packers sweater I was pissed. I didn't like it at all, and I didn't understand it. Now it all makes sense.

F''k you Ditka!!
