OT-Going to a game at Barclay

Post#1 » by jordb2k7 » Tue Nov 17, 2015 12:25 pm

Hey guys I come in peace I had a question and thought it would be easier to reach out here. My wife and I are traveling to New York this weekend for a little getaway. Nothing really specific planned so I saw that Boston/Brooklyn play Barclay on Sunday. How difficult is it to get to a game from Rockefeller area? I haven't decided yet if we are going to go or not, does anyone have any advice on this? Transit tips, things to do, places to sit, etc. Don't worry I'm bad luck I'm sure me going will jinx my Celtics. If I posted this wrong or anything please feel free to delete or modify in anyway, I appreciate anyone's input! Thanks

Yes I do, we are staying up there for the weekend without much planned. Just wanted to enjoy the city for a bit since we are from Texas. We thought it might be cool to go over there for a game but if there's even more cool stuff to do I'm all ears for it! Thank you.

It's pretty easy - you can take the D train all the way to Barclays, takes about half an hour. Getting in the arena can take some time especially if you arrive 5-10 mins before tip, so the earlier the better. Make sure you leave time to browse all the food options, it's my favorite arena in the country when it comes to food options. Enjoy!
