I feel like every year, the early season games are a crap shoot. Then, teams settle in and order is restored.

If you can sneak in quality wins at the front end of the schedule -- while other teams are still mucking about -- that would help your record by the end of the year. I recognize that I'm sounding like Doug Collins, pleading with his teams to blast their opponents to start the second half while the other guys are still half-stepping and warming up. And to that, I reply:

When gathering ye nuts just don't overtly grab your nuts like Kelly Oubre did when Beal hit a game winning shot.

It is indeed interesting that a blowout win less than ten games into the season garnered a paltry four pages of discussion .

I think a few factors are at play. For one, bad news generates more discussion (if less pleasant); sports radio is the perfect example. And people like to come vent online more after losses.

But also, there was so much lead-up and anticipation going into the season. Everyone was FIRED UP. Now that we have settled into the mundane, people are sort of spent a little bit. We'll get our wind back before long here.

Game was on NBA TV outside the area. For me at least, I couldn't watch it because that meant it was blacked out on League Pass.

Edit. It's official, no Beal according to Witt. We just need to keep turnovers under control and we should have a chance to win(not a great chance, but a chance). It would be great if good Wall made an appearance.

This was what I had feared. Pleased to be surprised and really surprised it ended up being a laugher.
