Its going to have to be addressed either internally or via trade. Hansbrough is really our only internal option and I don't think anyone would be particularly excited about that. Hopefully Cho at least makes one of his signature sneaky deadline deals for a solid defensive center.

We didn't? The Al/Hawes/Frank/Cody/Marvin front line wasn't expected to strike fear into any opposing frontcourts.

He hasn't really looked all together the entire season so far...

If he still isn't healthy, let him sit

Man, I just wish Kaminsky would just take those wide open threes without conscience. He did it once and I really liked that approach. Looking for him to do it more. Then the O will be even deadlier. But Cody got abused by Young. Lin was so comical this game. Quit the bitching and just play.

Hey guys. Didn't watch the game and too lazy to go through all the pages in the GT. can someone sum up we beat a crappy team by such a small margin yet everyone seems to be happy with how the team did?

All I can tell you is that in each of the past two years, the Toronto Raptors won over 70% of the games in which Hansbrough played at least 11 minutes. In other words, whenever he got burn in both halves. A lot of the time, the second unit was dominant while he was on the court. He made everyone better and played excellent team defense. It's really unfair that he has not had an opportunity to show what he can do with the Charlotte Hornets. More than that, it has been detrimental to the team.

Crappy team? The Nets beat the Hawks and Rockets, lost to the undefeated Warriors in OT and the Kings by 2 over the last 4 games. And finally, the line was Hornets -3.5...so I think they did what they were supposed to do.
Also, It's the NBA...the Pistons beat the Cavs after losing to the Lakers.

I think that is a terrible way to view the league. Every team can beat any other team on any given night. We are not so privileged of a fanbase that we should expect to win games in blowout fashion. We are not the Warriors or 72 win Bulls. We are a mediocre team that will struggle to beat a lot of teams all season. As others pointed out, the Nets have actually played well recently since getting Jack and Lopez back in their lineup. A win is a win and we should be happy about that.

The only crappy teams are team that choose to loss, AKA tank team like the 76ers. Everyone in the NBA can play, even those at the deep bench can still kill the best college team by a mile.

Brooklyn may have a bad record, but it doesn't mean they are a bad team.

Pelican's record has been disappointed but they are far from a bad team.

I thought the Nets were a competitive team. They are better than their record.

If you can't ridicule the Nets, then why even watch the NBA?

You realize that Brooklyn took the Golden State Warriors to overtime, right? Brooklyn played reasonably well, we just played a bit better. Brooklyn is capable of beating teams, just not frequently. They're not the 76ers.
