Who should be the next coach of the Houston Rockets?
Do they let J.B. Bickerstaff finish out the year to see how he does? He is considered an up-and-coming talent in the coaching ranks.
The two big names that have been mentioned have former ties to Houston: Tom Thibodeau and Jeff Van Gundy. I know that JVG still lives here and more than once I've heard him refer to the Rockets as "us" when talking about the team.
Is there someone else out there?

I dont see Thibs or Jeff fitting with the make up of the roster, like at all.

Shouldn't Brooks be at least in the equation? He's coached Harden before. Former Rocket on the first Championship squad. Former COY Winner. Potential recruiter for Kevin Durant, who tweeted this when Brooks was fired:
"Today was tough for me. While I support our team's decision 100% and look forward to the upcoming season and the future in OKC, Scotty was my friend and a coach for the past seven seasons. We accomplished a lot together, and those times will never be taken away from us. I grew as both a man and a ball player under his guidance and for that I will forever be grateful. I wish nothing but the best for him and his family who have also been such a big part of this city and organization. I know he will be very successful in wherever his next steps in life are."
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Durant also said a few weeks back Donovan runs more set plays and a better offense than Scott Brooks. Scott Brooks is equally, if not, worse than Kevin McHale. Both got by on the teams talent, not their coaching. So hopefully no to Brooks cause team will be in the same boat back again.

McHale didnt always have allstars and he overachieved then.
I really thought they were grooming Chris Finch to be the HC of the future... I guess he didnt show as much once brought up to the A team.

The promoted Finch from assistant coach to associate head coach, whatever that means, so Morey is still high on him.

I've always believed in JB so I'm willing to roll with him. Perhaps Thibs next but I think JB will get this team turned around.
