there were some bargs supporters.... saying how he "didnt cost much" and if he hits shots anything else is a plus"

the guy is just a massive negative. no matter what shots he hits you are going to be outscored if he is on the floor. he makes everyone around him worse on both ends

its amazing cause bargnani is a pretty good man to man defender but he struggles if a person shoots jumpers, attacks on dribble or help defense. harper was pretty bad on defense as well, but i wouldnt mind him seeing bargs play defense so far. i think bargs will probably be gone next season as willie reed and chris mccullough will take all his minutes anyway since bargs has a player option for 2nd year.

bargs being a good man defender is a myth... he really isnt. its a product of him being in a league where there are very few back to the basket scoring bigs. not to mention teams know how bad he is defensively if you put him in pick and roll or rotation situations and just abuse that

that's not a myth about bargs, there are times where a lot of players struggle nst him posting up and he holds his own. I'm not saying it happens often but ive seen where he defended Dwight, nowitzki, and luis scola tough.

as i've said I honestly haven't seen much of thiss team play yet this season. With grad classes winding down for the semester I'll be able to catch some games finally. I can't really pass judgement yet on players since i only see the opening or ending of games, or I'll look at box scores. I'm excited to be able to watch the Celtic game tonight to get a real read on the team. I think being 12 games in now we're going to see the players for who they really are.

I think it's this way:

This should be the direct link: ucp.php?i=165 But if doesn't work, manually go to:

Click on your profile.
Then pick the tab "Board preferences".
The option is there on edit global settings. "Allow users to send you private messages:"

thanks that did the trick
