There is 70+games left on the season and there is a lot of WC teams right now that aren't playing consistent basketball... Giving yourself a chance is a lot better then tanking/ and playing like you don't care.

The Lakers can still make the playoffs its still way to early.

You can be optimistic but let's be honest with ourselves....this isn't a good team man and while there's a lot of mediocre teams this year we're not one of them and we have a moron of a coach

Heres my sentiment so far.. And I want a real answer from you or others....

The NBA Landscape is weak this year and there is a lot of teams right now that are gonna have a poor record in what way does it make sense to tank?

The odds are better that the team can sneak into the playoffs this year then the Team getting a top 3 pick you can't pick and choose ... The reality is that I fully expect Mitch and crew to pull of something big soon because it doesn't make sense to have a bad season in a year were there is gonna be a lot of teams winning in the 20's.

I dont see anybody that is worse than us other than the nets and sixers, but theyre both in the east. Nets cannot afford to tank as their pick isnt protected and still have formdable talent and starters. I think that the wolves and knicks will vastly improve from last year. We have a SOLID chance in keeping our pick.

Kobe, Roy Hibbert, Clarkson and Lou Williams all registered more assist than Russell. Nance Jr, and Bass has equal amount of assist. Russell does not making his teammates better. He is not creating Scoring opportunities for then. And he does not set them up. I like him and time he will be good. I just don't thing he is a point guard, and don't like how he plays that position.

Says who? The voices in your head? The Lakers are like 4 games out of the 8th spot with 71 games left in the season... I'm not usually optimistic but anything can happen in a year were the Rockets/Clippers/Grizzles are playing mediocre basketball.

You honestly think we're gonna be in the race for a playoff spot nearing the end of the season? We're 4 games behind only cuz the season just started. We won't beat out the kings, jazz, pelicans, hell even rockets maybe. Y'all laker fans are delusional thinking we have a chance to do sometjing this year. Season is lost.

I understand your concern completely... And yes there is a good chance this season is a lost cause but any trade here and there and perhaps bringing in a new coach can light a fire under the team....

Now if the losing continues into December then yes we can all officially conclude the season...

Let's just wait to see what the management does there is no way there gonna let this season off the hook with so much at stake.

i trust the voice in my head more than an empty hope that put too much weight to our rookies and then blame them all when it's not went well.
