Porzingis looks so damn good. Knicks are so lucky.

22/11 on 12 shots with 5 blocks. Stud.

not lucky. smart. Knicks did their homework on the kid. I'm so happy he's doing well, this is what I envisioned from him

plus they're allowing him to play his game instead of limiting him. That's important. Also helps that he's a natural defensive player (if you watched him in FIBA youth tournaments, that's basically all he did) with a developing offensive skillset.

Most important thing now is that they DO. NOT. BULK. HIM. He needs to gain strength and a few pounds of muscle, but slowly. Over a few years.

Porzingis with two more clutch blocks on harden, and rebounds, up to 7 blocks now and 14 rebounds. Damn

offensively Bargs was more talented than Porzingis, but defensively they're very different. Porzingis started as a defensive guy, hence his natural ability in that area, with his offense coming later.

Not gonna lie I've been cheering for the knicks all season especially Godzingis. Another reason is because they have Jose and I wanna see Melo get back to superstar status.

Knicks are good but seriously the Rockets suck right now, they just shoot the ball and barely got any offensive flow

Dang, it's early, but Knicks doing pretty well currently.

Porzingis is good though. 24 pts, 14 rebs, 7 blks, and a +14 for the game vs. HOU. He's making an impact already when many thought he'd come along later on.

No matter your specialty you need to put work in. Bargs was known as shooter but his actually gotten worse shooting 3s over the years.

With foreign players I think you can use their ability to learn english as gauge of their intelligence and hard work. Proz has perfect english mastered already. It took Bargs like 3-4 years before his english was conversational.

yeah that's true. it's about the work you put in to improve in every area that determines how good you can be.

And Porzingis' Spanish is also very good in addition to his English fluency. Learning two languages rather quickly is, like you said, a fantastic indicator of intelligence and work ethic. The ability to learn something and apply it quickly is overlooked often.

I was actually a bit afraid that, being drafted by the Knicks, that Porzingis wouldn't be given a fair shake at things but the new organization (with Phil and Fisher) has proven me wrong. He's also been resilient to the pressure. Overall fantastic outlook for him.

I am loving what Porzingis provided on the defensive end v compared to our JV even though they don't play the same position.

Knicks were going to regress because of Galloway shooting out of his mind, but Porzingis might be an all-star caliber player the second half of this season, so ****

Porzingis is what we thought or hoped Bargnani would be.

they're skillsets actually fit together perfectly. Wanted Raps to find a way to draft Porzingis in 2014 (before he withdrew :banghead: )

Porzingis + pre-bulk JV would be one of the highest potential frontcourts in the NBA.

Man I wish we had Towns or Porzingis. I'm actually becoming jealous of the **** knicks. When will we get a player that other fans are jealous of
