Morris is a high usage player. He played well the first 4-5 games of the season. 32% shooting the last 5 games. Morris falls in love with his shot too much. He has the jumper when you go to the Y and the old guy drills the mid-range shot. Well that's Marcus. Except he's missing his shots, but he continues to shoot them. Very inconsistent and frustrating player. Glad he's off the team and I just want him to shut up about the Suns, hope he plays well though for the rest of the season (have him in fantasy).

Watched a couple Pistons games this season, there have been a number of times Marcus had a wide-open teammate and he'd shoot... You'd think a change of scenery would've made him a better teammate. Nope.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Wow, Porzingis with 24, 14, 7 blocks and a couple of 3s, all on 67% shooting. I don't think any of those Bledsoe for him type rumors were true, and I really like Bledsoe, but if the Knicks were entertaining trading that pick or him for Bledsoe and we turned it down, when this rook has that length, is hitting 3s and blocking 7 shots, pulling down 14 boards? In like his 10th NBA game ever? Move over AD.

This draft looks fantastic. Much better than previous though it was much more hyped.

Yes, a lot of perennial starters and All-Star players in this draft.

My best guess is we offered Bled for the #4, and they countered with Bled + #13 for #4, which we rejected. Considering that Booker appears to have a real good shot to be the NBA's second-best marksman... no, I guess I'd still take it. Can't blame the FO for turning it down, though.

Maybe Porzingis will turn out to be one of the top players in the draft but I still think it was an incredibly risky pick at #4. If it's true that we had made some sort of offer around a top pick and Bledsoe, then I'm OK with having turned it down despite Porzingis looking legit because we chose continuity over taking a huge risk.

Amar'e Stoudemire Taking Classes To Possibly Become Agent

http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/239951/Amare-Stoudemire-Taking-Classes-To-Possibly-Become-Agent

No surprise here. Still playing in the league but already looking ahead to other opportunities.

I wish Amare had half the heart of PJ Tucker or even Shawn Marion. Amare has always been more concerned with building his empire then winning basketball games. We should have traded him for KG when we had the chance.

Pacers just shot 19/26 from 3. Every 3-pt record getting broken one by one.

Man, Paul George with 40, including 7 3s. I was really hoping he would last until my second pick in my fantasy drafts. Whoever got him has gotta be happy. 8 boards, 4 assists and 2 steals as well.

He must REALLY hate playing PF like everyone kept saying in the trade thread when they were trying to concoct trade offers for him.

Paul George at PF is working really well.

All these teams that are going 4 or 5 out are. Them, Atlanta, GS, etc....well, maybe not Houston but they are a mess. I think as long as we haven't found that stud 4, I think PJ, as a spread 4 could work well. Leuer and Telly are doing well, and hopefully we keep one or both after this year, but PJ brings so many more other intangibles if he could just shoot the 3 as well as them, and sometimes he does.

TJ hitting the 3 is becoming encouraging too...it seems we can go big or small now which is good.

The sooner TJ and Booker get a bit better defensively, the sooner we can REALLY run some stellar offensive lineups out there without suffering too much on the defensive side. If they could become average, or good defenders, even better.

The best thing about this small ball trend is that it makes the fact that we didn't find that stuf PF in the off season not as much of a factor as I thought it might be. It may make Kieff's trade value even less though, unless he can increase that three pt %.

Lakers are SO. BAD.

This is the first i've seen Kobe this season, he's playing like he's in his 50's and still think he's got it. Dude needs to just hang them up.

"LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers won't move for anyone. Not even the Toronto Raptors dancers.

LeBron's been having the Cavs skip the pregame intros and wait for their opponents at halfcourt. No matter what."

Well, I've never seen any player/team pull this tactic before so I laughed when I saw the video.

That's amazingly comical.

3 Cavs players just surrounded by dancers.... what's next? playing defense on the half time contestants?

Curry saved the Warriors from losing their first game of the season. Dude is just unbelievable I've never seen a shooter this good as him and I've watched quite a few Allen, Nash, Korver.

Also, Deadre Jordan set a franchise record in ft attempts tonight with 36 connecting on 12. :o
