That's really never been the issue. The issue was the health of Shields/Randall, which bumped hyde up to the nickel. Hyde's a good returner and back up S, but not a slot player. Give Rollins, Gunter, Goodson those snaps.

It's took them a while to realize randall belonged outside. Hayward inside and being the nickel vs micah at nickel

I haven't visited any Vikings boards but if I know them they'll be crying about how officiating was to blame for this.
