There is good empirical data to back this up. Its early but we look about as a .500 team as you can get. There are flashes of brilliance but no consistency.

Yes, but right now almost every team in the West with the exception of Warriors and Lakers look like a 0.500 team. Dallas will fall....and Houston/Sacto wxill go up.

I smell a big game against San Antonio.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Well we have observed this team not make the playoffs in 5 years, that is about as mediocre as you can get. All indications this year so far (though its early) is we will play really good one night and poor another night, we lack the consistency the better teams in the NBA have. But I wasn't expecting big things from us anyways.

Pretty much what most of us were expecting. About a 500 team. What exactly are you complaining about? The difference is that 3-4 years ago we were a 500 or worse than and old. Now we are an up n coming 500 team with first and second year guys finally getting good minutes and our best players are 23 and 25 instead of late 30s.

Lots of good stuff here now even if you make just a tiny effort to look for it.

The Morris situation is really taking away from an otherwise pretty fun season IMO.

Do you feel this team is similar at all to the ones from 4-5 years ago?

It is mandatory that Tucker plays when we go small ball. I would like to see Bledsoe plus Tucker in for defense as out small ball guards, with Telly and Warren playing. Also we could have Kieff or Leuer at center. Small ball needs more defense, we didn't have that tonight.

Anyone who has been following basketball and the Suns for a decent amount of time knows that we are about a .500 ball club. I tell you what though, if we can somehow get a star within the next couple years to copmliment Bled and Knight I think we can make a deep playoffs push.

I take it you've never taken a science course in college? Empirical evidence is based on....OBSERVATION.

What have we observed about this team within the last 5 years?

But are we 9th in attendance because we're a "crappy .500 team" or are we 9th in attendance because we're still fun to watch with two dynamic guards and exciting young talent while playing at a high pace?

"Fun" is subjective. I love how Knight and Bled are playing, but we lack the talent to be a consistently good team in the West and make a deep playoff push. "Fun" also does not equate to good.

I never said good, only fun, which is definitely subjective. However, we're 9th in attendance which can be considered an objective measure of "watchability" and in my view "watchability" = fun.

I am not complaining about anything. Why is everyone taking this comment out of context? So many fans on here lately have been complaining about the Suns fan base and how bad the crowd is. And I am pointing out that this game is just like last year and that is the reason. Cannot close out a team down the stretch. Played bad defense. Had bad turnovers. It was a winnable game against a playoff team from last year and the Suns failed once again. 7-6 against a cakewalk schedule so far. That is why fans in Phoenix do not believe in this team.

And wasn't Chandler signed for defense and rebounding? He did not even play in the fourth quarter. Suns could barely get a stop in the fourth quarter against Davis and Hornacek never brought Chandler in. He had 10 rebounds in 16 minutes and Idk why Hornacek thought a Markieff and Teletovich frontcourt could get stops.

I heard that Anthony Davis guy is pretty good. Could just be hype though.

I've tried to give out 6-8 And1's tonight and This feature isn't working. I keep getting this error message:

Is anyone else getting this error message? Mods said it is happening to others. There were some great posts tonight that deserved recognition.
