I'm a Boogie fan, but I don't think he'd be a good fit now. Kanter has no problems being just a P&R big, Cousins would want touches and he isn't particularly efficient. It would be nice to have the defensive upgrade, but I question the overall impact it would have.

So first Waiters does not resign, then this comes out about him wanting to go home and play for the 6ers. http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/239871/Dion-Waiters-Would-Like-To-Play-For-Hometown-76ers

Lets assume there is some legitimacy here.
Presti is going to move him and why not the sixers?

Wroten for Waiters.

Does anyone else find it odd not having a single great athlete off the bench? Presti's hallmark has always been length and athleticism and now... Dion is our best bench athlete?

Length and athleticism was his trademark because we had a bunch of young draft picks. We don't now.

Because they were all traded or let go for guys who aren't athletes. Length and athleticism were hallmarks of our team and were what our defense was built around.

Perk is the only silverback. That's better than being long and athletic.

Seems like 76ers would be getting a bad deal

Why? Isn't it their goal to be bad? Send Singler with Waiters and the 76ers can tank all day long.

Jeremy Lin, anyone?

He and Lamb are anchoring the 6th-best bench by points in the league. Unless we give something good he's not coming.

I really doubt they make a deal but if they do I would assume Steve Novak would be leaving town.

I don't see the Thunder dealing Augustin or Waiters at this point.

They could really use another SF type that would let Durant to fluctuate between the 2-5.

Who would we trade for him? We already got two Okay PGs. Okay player but we don't have a need for him. Maybe somehow we could land Kaminsky as part of that deal

It would have to be something like Cha 2nd returned, Augustin to another team, other team's value to Cha. Only really works if they fall apart prior to the deadline.

Just trying to come up with some discussion generating idea, I doubt Cha goes for it. There's no way Frank is part of the deal (and I have no interest in him anyway). Augustin just really doesn't fit in this offense, he isn't a good enough pick and roll player.

Nothing special. Perk still looks like his ceiling.
