Who is better, Carolina, Minnesota or Arizona?

Post#1 » by bwgood77 » Mon Nov 16, 2015 1:23 am

These look like they could be the two best teams in the NFC, though the Cards can't be counted out, nor can the Hawks if they win tonight.

But from these two, if they met in the NFC Championship..who do you take? I think they are both really tough, and I have been riding them for gambling purposes (though I did take Oakland against Minnesota today).

I'm guessing if they met in the NFC Championship, I'd probably take Cam Newton who I think might be better in the big game after having some experience in it, though I think Minnesota is just as tough for the most part.

Arizona is the most rounded team, followed by Carolina. Bridgewater cant be trusted so I'd exclude them from the three.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

I think they have the ability, but after losing to the Rams at home, they haven't looked top notch, with a double digit loss to the Steelers, and only beat the Ravens and Browns. Basically none of their wins have come against good teams. Other than those two, you have the Lions, 49ers, Bears and Saints.

Don't get me wrong, I think they could beat anyone and love Arians, and if they win in Seattle, that will prove a lot, but I was just wondering how these two teams were viewed.

And how come I haven't seen you on the Suns forum lately?

I don't know how good the Vikings are yet. I want to see them play Green Bay before deciding whether I think they can make a deep playoff run.

I think the teams (including Arizona) are close enough that it comes down to whichever QB you trust the most. Palmer > Cam > Teddy for me. I'd have a hard time picking against Seattle and their experience if they make it, though.

I love what the Vikings have. I picked them as my NFC darkhorse at season's start. Their D is very underrated and their O has some nice playmakers and of course the best RB in the league.

I saw how top notch your team was vs. the Steelers. I'm not impressed and I honestly feel your team is a fraud that will get exposed in the playoffs, sorry.

I could see your point if Arizona was having one good season. But that's not the case at all.

Since Bruce Arians came
10-6 (missed playoffs)
11-5 (started 9-1) Palmer went down for rest of season and season went to hell.

Currently 7-2.

Nothing fraud about it. As far as the steelers game I'm pretty sure they held
Vick to 6 passing yards at halftime. Now jones came in and balled but I would never take those odds.

For the first time in petersons career which has been good but never a true shutdown CB. He's finally being that dude.

Plus mathieu is finally healthy and playing out of his mind. The defense has always been good even back before Arians with Horton running the D.

This team is built to go all the way with Palmer and the receivers and the running game.

I'm not saying cardinals best team ever!! But they have been very good the past 3 years. As long as Palmer is healthy why you think they are frauds idk

Got back and look at their schedule and who they have beaten up on. Outside a couple games, your schedule is weak at best. Lets see how they do playing tougher teams week to week down the stretch before getting our panties in a wad. Let me know how you feel after tonight's game.

In many respects, they outplayed GB today. I will be interested to see how their next game turns out.

Are you serious? Do you watch them normally? Or just that Steelers game? Ever since Arians showed up, I don't know what it is, but this team comes to play. I think the only team in the NFC that looks scarier is the Panthers.

With a healthy Palmer they have won at a pretty high clip. They do still have to play the Vikings, Packers and Seahawks again though.

Seattle may make a bit of a run, because fortunately for them, they get the Steelers without Bell or maybe Ben, and the Ravens without Flacco.

You can say that for almost every team in the league. The Cardinals have quality wins. They beat the Seahawks in Seattle. They just beat the Bengals last night. I mean what do you want them to do beat the Patriots 10 times? Most teams schedules are going to be comprised of like 90% mediocre to bad teams.

I have to admit I'm more impressed after beating a high quality Bengals team last night. However I still have some issues, especially with Carson Palmer, but I am now throwing them in the mix in the NFC. What the hell do I know, I'm just a spoiled 70's Cowboy fan who took Green Bay the win the NFC this year. I still do.
