Yeah boys turn your TVs back on.
It's amazing what happens when you win the rebounding battle

It's official: Clippers have their first 3-game losing streak of the season. It's all over. Their championship window is shut.

The Clips make it a more respectable loss by trimming the deficit by nearly 20 points, but it's still a loss at the end of the day. Clips drop a game below .500 and are currently tied for 8th in the west along with the Denver Nuggets.

he takes ownership but the cynic in me is just disgusted because it sounds like sleazeball talk.

unfortunate that i think of him like that now.

There were several problems in this game

1. Turnovers

2. Lack of rebounding

3. Lack of shooting- they missed so many wide open shots

4. Officials. Several of Blake's fouls were suspect- especially the one that should have been an AND-one that could have possibly cut the lead to 5. That was a terrible call. Made me incredibly angry. Many of the CLippers problems are self inflicted, but it seems that the refs never hesistate to salt the wound- whether it is the out of bounds call with a little more than 1 minute to go in the Warriors game or this egregious offensive foul

doc makes it sound like this happens all of the time

in which case doc isn't being truthful because why dont the reporters ever hear it like they are right now or he is being truthful and guys are yelling at each other in practice which i don't think is the best mentality to have towards success

It is better that they are yelling at each other than smiling while saying that everything will be ok. They need some level of passion and energy. They can't seem to put it together for a whole game.

I think every player is different. CP and Blake always perform better when they are angry with themselves, however DJ, Lance and Jamal seem to play their best when he is having fun.

I've been busy this weekend and I know we didn't win. We've lost 3 straight. This isn't the start I envisioned. I'm sure the team know that it has to play better, the only positive is that it's the beginning of the season.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Perhaps it was a mistake to re-stock so much of the roster. It was a good idea to bring in a guy like Johnson and perhaps Pierce for playoff savvy, but it seems like they miss glue guys like Barnes and Big Baby

i'll always think losing barnes was pretty big. i don't know if charlotte ever would have let us swap crawford in barnes's stead, but if that was ever a thing i'd say that did some pretty big damage.

i also thought we shouldn't have let davis go but it's not like he was all that productive either.

Its not exactly about productivity but moreso team chemistry. Both of those guys would sacrifice for the team and I think their teammates respected that

We have an amazingly talented bench but the problem is that we don't have plays, structure or ball movement and while they are all talented, they aren't good enough playing simple hero ball. They were all brought in to play a support role but they need a leader or a true PG to organise them. We don't have the size to rebound and play a run-n-gun style, yet our half-court offense relies heavily on iso's and ugly post-ups. Rivers driving to the basket is actually my favourite bench play which is saying something.

I agree with lac. they need structure and a defined role and that is on the coaches. I see why the argument happened after the game. would have loved to have been the fly on the wall. there is a reason why some of these players are traded so often.
