Shortly after summer league he broke his jaw, thus he was on a liquid diet and limited from activity that could create impact pressure to his jaw for most of the summer. As everyone knows, the summer is when most individual skill development happens.

Not only could AG not work on his game all summer, but he missed all of training camp and was not cleared to practice with the team until the night before the last preseason game. In that one preseason appearance he bruised his foot and missed all the remaining practices of the offseason. He was finally activated the first day of the season. This all, of course, after missing more than 1/2 of his rookie season with a foot injury.

Despite all that, AG is still 6th on the team in total minutes played and 6th on the team in MPG (20). So Skiles is doing a nice job of gradually integrating him. By mid December his minutes should be up to around 25.

In my opinion, he probably doesn't have his break out year until next season, after he's had a full healthy season to learn Skiles' system + the NBA game and a full summer for individual development.

To add: if Gordon is to develop into a PF, he always need about 3 years in the weight room. He can still gain more strength.

It's funny reading everyones comments on the GB. They all think AG, Hezonja, and Oladipo are in Skiles doghouse just because of the Harris on the Bucks thing. There are people that believe that the Knicks are lucky to have Fisher over Skiles.

Did anyone remind them to look at the Knicks bench? Porzingis would play even if he sucked.

Rookies make mistakes and then will learn from it. From the bench he can't commit mistakes, maybe verbally but not basketball stuff.
Play Mario, at worst you develop him and get another top pick while Fournier's value stays low for his next contract.

Klay Thompson did not became the actual player by staying on the bench and playing 40 seconds of garbage time.

To me that's an ego problem. Skiles and Hezonja are incompatible, he says Mario has to learn and smart Mario is playing Scott's game for now, truth his Skiles hates Mario. but the fault it's not on Skiles, it's on who hired him.
You can find a good coach anytime anywhere. A top 5 talented pick is more rare i guess.

You wanna became a treadmill team? Because that's how you became a treadmill team.

Is this for real? the dumbness of this post is ruining my buzz

Is this your argument? a trivial offense? Really?!

Don't be touchy. You know i'm right. Maybe i'm wrong by talking after a win.
